3 parks for October 3, 4, 5, order of parks?

We're headed to Universal as a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 children, for October 3, 4, 5. We'll have those full days in the parks and will have Express pass. We want to do all 3 parks, what order would you do them in?

Initially we were thinking U, then VB, then IOA but now I'm wondering which will be the busiest on 10/5 since it's a Saturday.

Since the local kids are still in school that time of year, I'd do VB in the morning on Thursday or Friday, see how you feel after the morning, then wash up, and do another park later in the afternoon, until close.
Where are you staying? The Universal hotels have early entry to VB, so I'd take advantage of that, to give even more time in the morning with less crowds.

Also, it is a busy time, as HHN is going on, and many will come for that later in the afternoon, and make the studios a little bit busier as they can stay in holding areas, after park close to get a jump on some of the popular houses.

I'll be there at that time, and will certainly fit in some VB time, as I have a 3 park annual pass. I also enjoy VB at night, particularly after a rain, as lower crowds as the night finishes, and the park is fun with the lights at night.

Hopefully, you have 3 park to park tickets, so you can go to more than one park a day.
