3 Park Days - Do it?

This is basically the only way I do WDW, because people. ;) Three nights/three-four days onsite is the sweet spot for me. Have a few priorities, book one or two meals, and then just enjoy yourself. That said, there aren't many attractions on the east coast that I consider "must do" - I just enjoy the theming/size and convenience location wise- it's an easy getaway and can be done relatively affordably with careful planning.

One thing I will say- don't cut too many corners, or you will make yourself feel bad about it. Go with concrete goals and be flexible/positive about the odds. Three days is so much better than one! Valentine's day is probably so cheerful- go with the right attitude and I'm sure you'll have fun! :)

I think a short trip is worth it if you are go to WDW somewhat regularly. I would never recommend a short trip as a one time thing. But when you've been before and you know you will be again then you can pick and choose what you want to do in those 3 days and have a great time. With 2 new areas for you to explore, it makes it even more worthwhile.

This year I did the 3day Hopper + waterpark.

I personally like to get a lot in each day so doing it in 3 straight days us and kids get way to tired.

This year doing week with above pass. Park (Day1), Waterpark (Day2), off day, Park (Day4), Waterpark (Day5), Waterpark (Day6), Park (Day5) - so having 2 days of more relaxation between each rope drop to closing day for the parks … get the most out of every park minute.

We used to get a 5 days pass and go to parks day after day morning to night... and it lost the enjoyment part.

I'm skipping my annual trip this year because I have other spending needs right now, but I'm really missing it.

I'm starting to think of a "short" trip for 2019, for Feb 10-14 (Value season), with a 3-day Park Hopper (because the price goes way up for the 4-day). I would get there between 2-3 pm on Sunday and would probably have to be on the DME bus around 9 am Thursday.

My first trip in 1999 (with my sister) was 4 nights, but all my subsequent trips have been 5-7 nights. 3 park days seem like so little time, but my priorities would be doing the New Stuff (Pandora and Toy Story Land). I would want to hold out for a discounted Value room and a decent price on a plane ticket.

I know the Dis will say Do it! And maybe that's what I'm looking for, validation that this is not a crazy idea. But I'd love some feedback: is a short trip "worth it"?

Do it!

Yes short trips are worth it. Most of the trips I've taken have been just 3 park days. My upcoming trip in a couple weeks will be just 2 park days. It will still be fun.

Do it do it do it

I found myself in the same exact situation - dying to go but on a budget. We will be doing 3 days at the end of August at an All Star with one day at HS for Toy Story land and 2 days at Epcot for Food and Wine. Kind of ridiculous but can’t wait! We also had some Jet Blue credits from a canceled flight and lost luggage so that lightened the finances as well.

I would totally go for it. I've never done a 3 day trip but we did do a 4 day trip last March and it was great. It came at the end of a really stressful time at work for both my wife and I and it ended up being the perfect fun recharge trip. As a few have said already, sometimes short trips are the best!
