I'm skipping my annual trip this year because I have other spending needs right now, but I'm really missing it.
I'm starting to think of a "short" trip for 2019, for Feb 10-14 (Value season), with a 3-day Park Hopper (because the price goes way up for the 4-day). I would get there between 2-3 pm on Sunday and would probably have to be on the DME bus around 9 am Thursday.
My first trip in 1999 (with my sister) was 4 nights, but all my subsequent trips have been 5-7 nights. 3 park days seem like so little time, but my priorities would be doing the New Stuff (Pandora and Toy Story Land). I would want to hold out for a discounted Value room and a decent price on a plane ticket.
I know the Dis will say Do it! And maybe that's what I'm looking for, validation that this is not a crazy idea. But I'd love some feedback: is a short trip "worth it"?

We went on a cruise out of Port Canaveral in 2017. And we got to our pre-cruise / non-disney / MCO airport hotel at 3p, we subsequently ubered to Epcot for the evening. Because, we were in Orlando, and we couldn't stand not spending any available time at WDW! So, I say go for it. It'll help tide you over until your next longer trip.
