We have a reservation with the dining plan and we are hoping our daughter will join us sometime during the vacation. The room sleeps 4 so we have the space but wondering since 2 of us are on the dining plan, how will it work if 3 of us sit down to eat ?? Can we order off the menu for one person and pay while the others use DDP ???

Yes...you can mix payment methods. Just tell your server who is on the DDP and who is paying OOP. They'll bring you two bills at the end of the meal; one for the DDP and one for the OOP. My family has done this in the past and it's usually pretty easy.

Doesn't everyone in the room need to have the DDP? Sounds like your daughter will be staying in you room?

Yes and no...when you make the reservation, everyone staying in the room has to have the same package (tickets and dining). However, I have read that you can add someone to your room at check-in and then they do not have to have the dining package or tickets (because dining cannot be added at check-in). If you wait until you check-in, the extra person would not have early access to FP+ or DME (for the arrival).
