3 nights enough time?

18 months ago we did cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu, then 6 nights in Aulani. This year we did week on Maui, Week in Aulani.

We will probably do the cruise to Oahu again, then 7 nights in Aulani the next time. I would not change after 3 night.

We are doing 3 nights at Aulani as part of a 12 night trip (6 nights Big Island, 6 nights Oahu). The plan is for our Aulani time to be the relaxing part of the vacation. The rest will be pretty much go-go, if I get my way. Never been to Hawaii before, so I want to see as much as possible, but I also want to be able to explore as much of Aulani as possible. May not be enough time, but that was the best we could do (even with adding a few school days onto the trip).
