3 night itinerary

I told myself I wasn't going to over plan this trip and just go with the flow, smell the roses. Now I just keeping thinking of plans.

I want to book a WOC Dessert Party but can't decide which night, Fri, Sa, Sun ? F! has two showings each night, WOC 10pm and fireworks.

The trip is the last Friday of this month, with the debut for the new parade, and F&W

Trip is grown up DD and DM newly retired, her first trip.

Fri - Land LAX 7:30am. In parks around 10ish, start in DL. Have res for Oga's at 1:30pm. Stay for fireworks and 2nd showing of F! -- possible afternoon break staying at Hotel Indigo - I'd stayed in this area off-site last year and did kinda find it a pain and possibly more tiresome walking back to the hotel in the afternoon. But feel staying until the likes of 11pm is too much without a break/sit-down.

Sat - MM 7am, try for RotR boarding group. Some more of DL. 2:30pm Cafe Orleans res. Possible hotel break, hop over to DCA. We'd probably watch the fireworks again.

Sun - Rode drop at DCA. Hit the big rides. 12pm res at Lamplight for drinks only. Lunch. 5pm Frozen, relax in GC lounge, arrive 8:45pm for WOC dessert party - best to save dessert party for the last night of our trip when most tired, seats are well deserved?

Mon - 9:10am res Minnie's breakfast. Hit last things we want. Leave Anaheim 4pm for 7:30pm flight from LAX.

Thoughts? My main concerns are when to hit the fireworks etc..., as I know high winds can cancel the show for the night, so best to try for every opportunity. What night to do WOC dessert party? Hotel breaks, where to rest? Should we rest?

We always do WOC Dessert Party the first night if at all possible, for the simple reason that if the winds are high or the weather is bad and it gets cancelled, you can try again for later in the trip. Not only that, but it just gives you a magical first night.

I'd definitely plan on a mid-day hotel break, especially since it looks like you have an older person in your group. Chances are she'll be exhausted trying to do 12+ hours in the park, which is what it looks like you're suggesting.

I'm not familiar with your hotel or it's location, so can't help you there.
