Dear Dis Friends:

Our graphic artist is a tall, pretty lady but with awful looking teeth. She is one of 5 finalists in a radio station’s contest to get $10,000 worth of cosmetic dentistry. She needs everyone we can find to vote for her in this contest. Can you help by voting and passing this on to your friends? It sure would be nice if we could help her win. Here’s what she wrote to me:

I have always been self-conscious of my smile. On our local radio morning show, KDWB, they are having a contest for $10,000 worth of cosmetic dentistry. The contest is called Mangled Mouth Contest. I entered thinking what do I have to loose?
WEll I am a finalist. I am Finalist #1 out of 5. So, please go on this website below and vote for me and pass the message around. I have a 10 year class reunion this June, so this will be perfect change for me. I have been praying that there is a contest that I can enter, and I believe God finally answered my prayers and gave me a chance to win. So, I need your support.

A smile is so important. To be ashamed to smile would be awful. I know not all parents can afford dental work for their children, but there should be a low income program for cosmetic dental work. They have had to go through their entire lives like this, I would assume. How sad.

I hope a local cosmetic dentist picks up the other four that don't win.

Almost felt guilty about not voting for Finalist #2. But as of right now, it is nearly dead even in votes. Finalist #2 is winning by just 3 votes. BTW voting ends at 10am. So if you're gonna vote do it b4 then.
