Hiya everyone, Not much new to post except that.....

I have gotten our airline tickets. I had been looking & looking & decided to look no more. I booked with Southwest at $232 a piece. The times were great though I know they'll probably change numerous times.

Summer has flown by, life is passing me by, I will be back at this thing full force eventually....

We have yet to get our tickets. We keep checking prices. At least you got one major portion of the trip taken care of. We'll be here when you come back full force.

Hey Roxanne! Yay on the airline tiks. I think my flight home has been cancelled I need to call and check. Hope all is well w/ you and the family. Our trips will be here before you know it!! I really hope we can meet up with you.

Hey Roxanne! So glad I found your Pre-Trippie. I miss talking to all you guys. I'm so jealous that you are going in December again, although I hope this year is NOTHING like last year for you.

Don't feel bad about not having much to write right now. I just started my Pre-Trip for NEXT September. I'm going to have a lot of days with "nothing" to write, but I just couldn't wait.

As far as the stroller, have you considered renting them? We stopped bringing our strollers when we lived in Florida, and we didn't bring one at all last time either (even though we drive). It's so much easier not to mess with it on the bus at all. And we always get the double so that if Will needs a rest, he can sit in it too. I know it doesn't lean back, but Christian falls asleep pretty easily with a nice towel laid down inside.

Can't wait to see what else you have planned. Glad you got your ADRs!

So here is the story - In August, our area was hit very hard with 2 hurricanes, Gustav & Ike, back to back & it changed our lives. We were more fortunate than others, our house was saved, just needs repairs & we took in some friends who lost their home. So life has become very very hectic.....

Back to Disney though, honestly, nothing much had changed since my last update on getting the flights. Well, I don't think anyway. This week I have to get everything together. I have gotten certain things going already but not the majority of things which is so unlike me.

I missed out on all the photopass shares so I made my own which is turning out very well - we have a group of 7!! Yippee!!!!

I booked a diver for our Anniversary meal at Coral Reef - I inquired about personalized menus but didn't hear anything back on that.

I am thinking of ideas to decorate our window.....So much to do & not much time....

So sorry about the hurricane damage. You're a great friend for taking in your friends. I'm sure it's been interesting. I'm glad to hear you are still going on your trip though! I'm still hoping to meet up w/ you. We'll have to compare schedules.

Ok....so I am a tad bit late finishing up here. Well alot late - but I had note....go me

Lets start off with our first official day

Our flight got to Orlando around 10 am - we were amazed at the plane this time. On our last flight to Disney, which was our first flight period, we flew Delta & had a very small plane. This one was much bigger.

We checked in smoothly to ASM & headed out to Epcot for lunch at Sunshine Seasons. As you can see the key lime pie was very enjoyable.

We wandered around for a while taking it all in before heading back to the rooms to freshen up. After all - it was a very special night - our anniversary. We had a 6pm reservation at Coral Reef. Our pager didn't go off until an hour later. During that time, all the stress caught up with me & a migraine was on its way. We were taken in & seated close to the tank. The kids loved that. It was time to order & Steve nearly freaked - wait - he did when we were given menus with pics of us on it!! Then when the diver came out with this:

he really really freaked!! I was unable to eat my meal due to my head pounding so hard but everyone else enjoyed their meal. Our server offered us comlimentary champagne for our special day but we weren't up for it. Now being we were an hour behind schedule we rushed to get DTD for Cirque. Busses were horrible. We got their 20 minutes into the performance. We were amazingly offered tickets to come back another night which I totally took advantage of. By this time, my head was easing off so we just strolled around DTD before calling it a night. A nice security person took this pic which I used as our Christmas Card

Pretty much a good start to our vacation....

Today we had an adr for Chef Mickeys - breakfast was very good. Matthew didn't like the characters quite yet so we didn't force him to take pics. Taylor on the other hand, loved them

Our plans this day were to visit Blizzard Beach for the first time but it was way too cold. So we headed off to AK. We had to see this right away.

We done what we could do until it was parade time.

As soon as that ended we went to HS - we ate dinner at Pizza Planet. None of us really cared for this place however portions were very big. Let me rephrase that, Taylor loved this place but for the arcade games, not the food.

We then went get a spot for Fantasmic. We got really good seats.

Next we went look at the Christmas light display

Then we were off to the room for some zzzz's

This day we went to HS- catching most of the shows. I was very disappointed in my fav pre-show not performing before Beauty & the Beast. The show however was outstanding as always.

For lunch we had turkey legs. I've had it before at Epcot but this time none of us were impressed.

After lunch we rode the rides - this one is from Backlot Tours

notice how I color coordinate us - believe it or not it helps alot.

We left mid afternoon to go take naps & relax. After we awoke we all went swimming. The temp was perfect.

After that we went DTD to visit with Santa - our Santa pictures didn't quite come out so well but this one did

We ate at Cookes of Dublin & we really liked the food here. When we got there we didn't think we would judging by the look of the place. It was a great surprise.

We spent the rest of the evening at DQ. I don't know why we never went here before. We all loved it.

We decided to try something I heard raves about. Tonga Toast for breakfast. It was a little too sweet to finish for me. But it was alright.

We then went to MK & saw

this is when you know you are really at WDW!!

We explored Fantasyland & Adventureland

After loads of fun there we went to Whispering Canyon...omg - we all loved it. The food was great, the service was great. We tried a glow-tini from here & we were hooked.

We went to Epcot today, I knew the boys wouldn't like it a whole lot so I planned an afternoon break today. But here are the boys at Epcot.

We headed to the Character Spot first

Matt still wasn't too sure if he likes the characters or not.
We rode a few rides then went to the counter service in Mexico. This was sooo relaxing. We sat by the water while eating. Then we went back to the room. Steve brough the boys swimming while I went take a nap.

We went back to WS after & I took this pic that I love

We had dinner in France. This was an excellent meal. We watched Illuminations which was awesome. People watched then left.

Today ended not going quite as planned. When we woke up, the weather looked not so great. We had reservations for Boma. The breakfast was outstanding.

After we decided to go back to the hotel as the weather looked horrible. Just as we got back, thunderstorms came down hard. When it cleared, we went to HS just in time for the Block Party. That was really nice

We pretty much just done whatever until it was dinner time.
We went to the Boardwalk & I fell in love with this view

We had reservations at Cape May and we got there early but they accomodated us. We were able to see all this cool stuff in the lobby though

As for the buffet - we did not like it.

We done it all today - I even got to meet my fav....

We had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern & this is when Matthew decided he likes characters - wonderful meal

We had to head out right away after dinner because there was MVMCP that evening but I managed to snap this

We went to Epcot, swam at the hotel, had a GF photoshoot - which was wonderful. We ate at Grand Floridian Cafe and it was excellent. No real good pics from this day but it was our last.

Our flight back home was pleasently uneventful.

We decided to never stay at a value resort again because of the bus situation. Having experienced it before at a mod now - there is quite a difference.
