3 Grannies, Disney Dancing & Deviltry! Oh, my!!

I just spent the last hour looking through the Disney Cruise site - the Dream and Fantasy have a Deluxe Inside Cabin that has a fake window, but the picture is a live shot of the outside!

WOOHOO for the retro pension!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I've seen those windows on the inside cabin I am sure that is what we will have in May !!!!

That would be great!! Then you can tell me what you think.

,
I wonder if it would be weird to see what the camera shows rather than what guest could see from a veranda - but those veranda prices are shocking!!!

Kind of cool ...I like it. :thumbsup2

I checked out the verandah prices !! It would only be about $100 each extra !!I don't think that is bad Actually looking at the price and knowing that all the extra cash you would need is tips, and souvenirs and for some alcohol add in airfare and it isn't that much more than a stay onsite at Disney plus food and admission tickets !!!

Rosie, I was thinking the same thing. - and like I was saying one the phone, we could even get one with the whitewall for a bit less and still have a very nice balcony - or better yet, those oversize balconies look fantastic! Let me know when we're ready to book! :cool1:

Cabanas is like a buffet on deck the Enchanted Gradens and Royal Palace are Main dining rooms all are incleuded and their is one more that is included !! Help Karin!!! The main dining is around 6p and 2nd dining is around 8 p , I believe !! Look I knew a lot without waiting for Karin!!

WTG! Rosie-Sam!! So 8 is the second seating? I might be too tired to eat by then. :rotfl: Wonder if we can eat first and then see the show?

I've been reading, reading, reading on the DCL site - the larger verandas are at the end of the ship - I'd feel better midship. I was going through the booking process and only a few verandas are available in the categories - could they really have sold so many this early? :confused3

Rosie, please pm me your email address so I can FW the TA quote and info? All of my email addresses are locked in the old laptop. Thanks!

I will be back tonight answering all the questions in detail tonight!

Just a few pointers.

All the main dining rooms are included! (Royal Palace, Enchanted Garden, Animators) There are also quick service restaurants on deck 11 which are free and Cabanas which is a buffet on deck 11. Room service is included too, you would have to tip though!
Palo and Remy are an upcharge

Not all free staterooms are shown on the DCL site. If you have decided on a deck and the category you want you can just punch in the number and if the stateroom is free it will show up!

1st dining is 5.45 and the show is later, 2nd dining (what we always do - less kids) is 8.15 and the show is earlier (2 shows!!)

The rooms with oversized verandas are at the back of the ship and there might be a little bit more movement from the thrusters. I say might as we have not tried them yet, but will on the 2014 cruise!

We usually book ourselves on board or on the DCL site. Easiest thing to do!

IF you want an oversized veranda I would move fast as they tend to go fast! I think they still have the special with the 10% downpayment still on, so you could secure a room. You can always cancel or move your room if you want to.

Have to go now! I need to get myself to work (25 mile drive) and it has snowed heavily overnight. This should not be fun. They are predicting more snow all day and I only get back in the evening.

Karin, thank you so much! :goodvibes As I was looking through the DCL site it became very apparent how easy it is to book directly on the site, just as you said. I am hoping the TA might offer a gift card or onboard credit, but she hasn't mentioned that yet - I did ask last night.

Looks like the 8:15 dining is the way to go - especially since it will be Feb break for many northeast school districts. And TWO shows! :cool1:

That is a long drive in the snow, especially if it s snowing. Be safe! (we are supposed to get 1 - 3 in overnight and schools are already closing! Not like home - no sand or salt treating the roads - when it snows there will be reports of 300(!!!!) accidents by 10 a.m. Yep, 300! Folks do not know how to drive in it, but think they do. It will be a whole lot of black ice here and untreated. We stay home!)

Why people don't just slow down is beyond me !!!I will do 20 miles an hour if that is what I am comfortable with and they can all overtake me :rotfl2::rotfl2:

A cruise sounds so wonderful. Love to go on one of them someday!!! :cool1:

I can hardly believe I am doing this - a cruise was something I swore I would never do! Have no doubt this one will buy fabulous! Hope you get to go some day soon! :goodvibes
