Hi Ladies so excited for all of you to have this time together .... sad that I won't be there to enjoy it with you. I was just on My Disney Experience canceling my reservations. I am still holding the following reservations for you. Kona Friday Dec 6th 9:40am GF Cafe Sunday Dec 8th 8:55am BOG Sunday Dec 8th 6:15pm Disney has now linked my credit card to those reservations with a 48 hour cancellation notice. Perhaps it might be a good idea for one of you to try to make those reservations in your name and for the correct number of people since all of these are for 6 and sadly we are no longer 6.

So sorry to hear this Linda I hope you heal ASAP!! About the reservations, I'm thinking it probably wouldn't be a good idea to let BOG go, I don't think we could get that back at all!! And the Kona breakfast! I don't think they mind if less show up, as long as people show up - we could try to reschedule them but as hard as it's been for me to secure yactsman at a decent time , I'd be scared nothing would be left! We promise not to be no shows! Perhaps Janet (queen of the ADR) could try for us, but everytime I looked to even try for an earlier BOG dinner on the 8th (due to the party) -- nothing was available. Perhaps they'd let one of us give our credit card instead?

Linda I am soooo sad that now you and Christine will not make it !! Then I had that HUGE scare last week . I talked to Janet and we are all set for our trip, I knew I was getting into Resort Changers but this trip has been nothing but changes I am positive that the 4 of us will have a ball!!

I see Linda I wasn't clear what you meant --I think everyone decided the 9:40 Kona ADR on Dec 6 was the one to stick with -- better check with Janet to be sure though! And please, please don't let go of BOG / we can change credit card info if need be - but we'd NEVER get that one back if we canceled!
As to the GF ADR on my behalf, Dawn and I aren't rushing to any early ADRs on Dec 8 due to resting and taking it easy for the party that evening. If Rosie and Linda would still like to do it early, it'll be an ADR for 2, if it would be later in the morning/ perhaps around 10:30/11'ish I would be up to joining them.

Disney won't let you change the credit card information. I did cancel the GF Cafe reservation since it is so easy to get. The 4 of you can talk and decide what you want to do about breakfast that morning.

Darn injuries! Linda, you know I am praying each day for a full recovery. I know how frustrating it can be...2 steps forward then one back. Some days it feels like we go back more than forward.

Rosie, each day I am thankful you are okay now. Quite a scare!

Jeannette, praying your ankle heals quickly.,..but I know these injuries take time. The munchkins must be disappointed. I know it must have been a difficult mommy time to tell them.

Marie ...from what I have been reading, Disney has been getting stricter with cancelation policies.

We had our reservation declined to be honored when three of us, rather than five, checked in for an ADR during early December a few years ago. It was a busy time and they would not take us with less guests - they told us we could be wait-listed as walk ups. I might not have believed it could happen had not happened to me. It was at Mama Melrose.

Personally, I would not want to take a chance and would try for a another ADR. While BOG would be fun ..it is only dining and you all have lots of other wonderful ADRs. Janet has managed to get some pretty hard to get ADRs, so anything is possible!

Good News, I was able to successfully rebook our Kona breakfast under my credit card for 4 on Dec 6 for us at 9:50 am -- 10 min later than what we had, but at least I got it !

I am wondering about the CC hold when I go with P &P next year !! P&P better use theirs, which will mean I have to have the TA do the ressies and I had hoped to do them myself as she didn't do to well this time .
I definately want to hold that BOG ressie too !! I have a feeling adrs MAY be easier to obtain with the CC hold as less people will hold several ressies for the same day under different names now !! I could not get over how as a party of 10 we never had an issue getting in to the restaurant we wanted at the time we wanted just showing up at Universal !!!!

Dawn and I will be taking it easy that morning/ afternoon-- perhaps some resort pool time, maybe another park for awhile for some favourites (DHS if we do) -- and then hit MK around 4 pm -- I want to keep MK fresh for the party in the evening and not spend all day there

That will be nice, especially since MK is the park you like least. . In the past, when we attended one of the hard tkt events, we never went to the MK before 4. A perfect time to arrive for the festivities!
