3 Generations Wandering the Wilderness from "Cabin" Camping to Club Level-FW & WL

I am lovin' the DISMeet photos and lovely sunset castle pics. Who knew that Caleb would be such a cut-up. Is he older than Stephen? I'm relieved that Steven managed to understand most everything Caleb said, even though they talk funny up there.

Erin was spot on in pointing out the Buzz camera to you, but you were having none of it, were you? It's great finally seeing what was going on when we were texting about Gaston's. YAY for Stephen finding the BIG CHAIR:thumbsup2

Do I smell another DISMeet of the mother-daughter variety?

Yep....girlfriend. And she happens to be in my class  Nothing serious of course since they're only 13....or at least I hope! Not looking forward to these teenage years...AT ALL!
 Oh boy......me either. LOVED the photos ALL four of you looked so happy and you had SO much fun!!!:dance3:

I won't hijack your thread with my trip, but will PM you!!

2 more dsys of work, first week getting back is sooooo exhausting!!
Next Monday going in for knee surgery! So I'll have plenty of spare time while home to tell you all about our August trip

And guess what? I've already booked next August :rolleyes1.
I am hijacking....good luck Monday Sue! And see you at the Poly:cloud9:

Back to Heather....:grouphug:

Do I smell another DISMeet of the mother-daughter variety?

What a special night with ya'lls boys.... Got to love mommy and son time.

I'm with Erin- love the music they play when you pull up at MK... AHHHH!!!!!

Beautiful pics of the castle with the sunset. I need one of those for my desk. hehe

<3

GAH!!!! The DIS friends finally meet! As you can imagine, I am reading this with much excitement given that Shannon and I have over a week planned together at WDW next summer! :woohoo: And YAY!!! It was just as happy and wonderful as it should be. Phew!!!

OMG - I love Caleb’s ham shots! They are HILARIOUS!!!

And I am just in love with how much the boys got along and had a great time together. This is possibly the most exciting thing about Shannon’s and my trip - our two only-child girls will actually get to experience WDW with another kid! :woohoo:

Oh man, no Space Mountain for you? :( At least you got some awesome castle pics!

Hi Ya'll (Heather taught me that, instead of 'you guys' as we say up here!)

So I love the TR installment Heather! It was the most magical night, the boys hit it off and were instant friends, both funny and silly! :rotfl: Caleb is 7th grade and Stephen 8th, but it didn't make one bit of difference, like...I'm younger than Heather and we are still friends (:lmao:cracking myself up!)

The Kiss Goodnight was a magical moment. We had exited Casey's after a huge helping of corn dog nuggests and the Castle started to twinkle, I shouted, 'it's the Kiss Goodnight!'. I had never seen this and always wanted too! We stood there together with our boys, long time friends together for the first time, watched the show, it was a perfect magical Disney moment! pixiedust:

Then we were up in the room until about 2:30 am, all four of us, giggling and laughing! It was a Disney slumber party! :grouphug:

Didn't seem to slow us down the next day, we had a ball!

And yes, Caleb is a total ham, funny and silly, he gets that from me:rolleyes1 and it comes out in full force at WDW!

Rgirl - you will love meeting your disfriend, and with the girls, it will be perfect. :cheer2: It gave Heather and I lots of time to chat!

Have a magical day everyone, thanks Heather for including our mini TR, I love seeing it all over again with you!:yay:

Just catching up on all your August adventures. How fun to have just a mother and son trip and get to enjoy it with another mother in son. Looks like the 4 of you are a match made in dis heaven ; ) Can't wait to hear more....

Just when I think I'm back in the swing of things on the DisBoards, I get behind AGAIN!!!! :upsidedow Thank heavens for Wednesdays....Faith goes to cheer for 2 hours, so I can sneak over to Starbucks with the laptop - usually by myself. Sometimes the Jessman tags along, so we have to make sure he has a portable device, too :teeth:

What a magical day!

Love that castle sunset shot

Very Magical!!!!!

Wow! What special night! So glad the boys got along so well. I still have not seene the kiss goodnight- can't get anyone to hang in there long enough with me

Wish I could stick around after most people leave the park....I would be able to get some great shots. Unfortunately by that time, I'm exhausted and my eyes are crossed. Maybe one day....

I just discovered your TR. Loving it!!!

:welcome: Glad you found us!!! Hopefully I get can things going again;)

I know right? We had amazing pixie dust :wizard: ya should've come over, you would not believe the size of that room, and RPC lounge was amazing. Yup, spoiled for ever now!!

When we moved to a regular GF room it looked tiny by comparisson lol. And logically I know they are pretty spacious rooms, having stayed last year!!

We also had amazing pixie dust at Portofino, had a beautiful balcony overlooking the bay.

Yay for MAJOR pixie dust!!!!! We never get that kind of luck. You really can't go wrong at the GF!!

Love Bills videos!! Good thing he found it!! My youngest daughter lost her sun glasses in wave pool

I'm tellin' ya!! That thing is treacherous!!! Crazy! I know they have warning signs, but you really don't get the just of it until you're slapped down by one of those waves

We've stayed at Pop twice for late arrival days. Cute resort but tiny rooms. It was fine for 2 of us, when it's just me & Ashley, but don't think I'd want to stay with more in room!

 I can't imagine trying to pile my crew in that room!!!! What a mess that would be!!

2 more dsys of work, first week getting back is sooooo exhausting!!
Next Monday going in for knee surgery! So I'll have plenty of spare time while home to tell you all about our August trip

How did the surgery go?? Hope everything went well!!

And guess what? I've already booked next August

Shocker!!!

I am lovin' the DISMeet photos and lovely sunset castle pics. Who knew that Caleb would be such a cut-up. Is he older than Stephen? I'm relieved that Steven managed to understand most everything Caleb said, even though they talk funny up there.

Caleb is younger by 6ish months or so...but taller!

And thank heavens for Erin translating....or we would have understood nothing. Weird accents those people have ;)

Erin was spot on in pointing out the Buzz camera to you, but you were having none of it, were you? It's great finally seeing what was going on when we were texting about Gaston's. YAY for Stephen finding the BIG CHAIR

I can only imagine what the people behind the security cameras were saying..."Typical women cackling and rambling on about nothing :hyper2:

Do I smell another DISMeet of the mother-daughter variety?

Absolutely! Poor Jesse's going to get the raw end of the deal...Erin doesn't have any kids left to do another meet. Gonna have to find another taker

LOVED the photos ALL four of you looked so happy and you had SO much fun!!!

Howdy there, Pas! Hope all is well with your fine family! :goodvibes And let's hope you aren't working too hard ;)

And yes, fun was had by all!!!! Most definitely!

What a special night with ya'lls boys.... Got to love mommy and son time.

I'm with Erin- love the music they play when you pull up at MK... AHHHH!!!!!

Beautiful pics of the castle with the sunset. I need one of those for my desk.

Copy and paste, girl...copy and paste! OR....you could just plan another trip to Disney and get one of those pics yourself :teeth:

GAH!!!! The DIS friends finally meet! As you can imagine, I am reading this with much excitement given that Shannon and I have over a week planned together at WDW next summer! And YAY!!! It was just as happy and wonderful as it should be. Phew!!!

Absolutely fantabulous!! And y'all have an ENTIRE week!!! :faint: I'm jealous...

OMG - I love Caleb’s ham shots! They are HILARIOUS!!!

Didn't take long at all for him to start hammin' it up....we just all kinda instantly bonded :teeth:

And I am just in love with how much the boys got along and had a great time together. This is possibly the most exciting thing about Shannon’s and my trip - our two only-child girls will actually get to experience WDW with another kid!

That is awesome that they both get to experience the World with another kid. It will be so very special for both of them...and a much different experience, too. I'm guessing y'all will do this again ::yes::

Oh man, no Space Mountain for you? :( At least you got some awesome castle pics!

Space Mountain...NO. As much as I love those rides, I'm not an idiot anymore. I've learned to say no and back away with my head held high.

Hi Ya'll (Heather taught me that, instead of 'you guys' as we say up here!)

Now we just have to work on the accent ;)

So I love the TR installment Heather! It was the most magical night, the boys hit it off and were instant friends, both funny and silly! You're a barrel of laughs, Miss Smarty-Pants. Maybe next time you'll be kind enough to bring me a cane or walker for the parks :teeth:

:thumbsup2

Then we were up in the room until about 2:30 am, all four of us, giggling and laughing! It was a Disney slumber party!

And poor Josh (Erin's oldest son) was worried that she was going to be sharing a room with serial killers :scared: Glad I proved him wrong!

Didn't seem to slow us down the next day, we had a ball!

And yes, Caleb is a total ham, funny and silly, he gets that from me and it comes out in full force at WDW!

The sillier the better, I say!!!

That is INSANE for anyone, especially with 6 kids at home. Is this still nights or days now, too?

Mostly nights and weekends, but I have a few 24 hour shifts in there. Apparently I am unable to take it easy ever :guilty: No worries though, I am good my friend

Sue Also hoping you are not in too much pain and are lurking along

Heather I just caught the serial killer comment, my DH got so nervous my first DISmeet not knowing who I was meeting up with :lmao: It was Janet and our Dear Sarah, there are not gentler souls anywhere, but he kept texting..make sure you are in the restaurant, well lit....:grouphug: Guess boys get nervous too HAHA

It was really funny when I told my family we were meeting up with Heather, my oldest DS15 (who is very funny and has a dry sense of humor) went on and on about how I have told him NOT to meet and talk to people on the internet and that he was sure Heather was a serial killer (all kidding of course!). He knew we had been friends forever, but it was really hilarious! I told Heather this story and that I was glad they weren't serial killers! In all honesty, I did have many funny reactions from friends, what if you don't like each other, etc? Well, we already knew we did and talk all the time, so it was no big deal.

And just to clear up this accent business, we, mid-westerners, talk like everyone else on TV, it's those darling southerners that have this thick charming accent, but we LOVED it! The funniest was Stephen laughing at us for calling soda 'POP', we do call it pop up here, and he thought that was so funny every time we said it! I do say ya'll now a lot, it's much easier then 'you guys'!

I totally get it! Meanwhile the amount of time I spend chatting with DIS buddies...whether online or text is way more than with my "real life" friends. Truth be told, I never tire of my "computer" friends as my family calls them :grouphug:

I know! Heather is more up to date with much of our lives then some of my closet friends here. I guess the moral of this story is that real friends are the people you share your life with, and it doesn't matter where they live as long as you can communicate with them. ;) I like 'computer friends', my family calls my Dis board friends my Dis friends, cute:)

:grouphug: Well put Erin, this is exactly what life and our DISfriends are all about. Awesome friends you can spend time "chatting" and sharing with :flower3: I am happy you and Heather found one another and finally got to share this Disney time together pixiedust:

What a fun trip report!!! I love all the pictures, seriously the best trip reports have tons of pictures :)

:tiptoe: Sneaking back into my own trip report...... Do I dare make excuses??? :rolleyes1 We're on Fall Break now, so I have 4 days to get this ball rolling .... once again.

And no..... not at Disney. We told the kids the money tree has dried up and won't bloom again until the cruise! Just thought I would share a very old Disney Fall picture with you. So wish I were there.... :( This time of year is fabulous at WDW!!!

Guess it's the norm when meeting people on the Dis - families being worried and all. And looking in from the outside...it is a bit weird

That's why you stretch the truth and leave the part out about never actually meeting in person. My story.... "Going to Disney to meet a friend. We've known each other for years...haven't seen her in forever." That's my story and I'm sticking to it ;)

SAY WHAT???! Like people on TV??!! :rotfl: Ok.... no. popcorn::

And by the way...your "y'all" sounds a heck of a lot better than my "you guys"!! Just doesn't quite work for me.... I can admit - I'm the odd man out with this whole accent thing. We stick out like a sore thumb. Y'all not so much. You can blend into a crowd much easier than me

I totally get it! Meanwhile the amount of time I spend chatting with DIS buddies...whether online or text is way more than with my "real life" friends. Truth be told, I never tire of my "computer" friends as my family calls them

Let's face it....we're all a bunch of weirdos  ;) But I like different, so it works for me ::yes::

Heather  Yep, we are all weirdos...but you're my kind of weirdo...:flower3: And in Heather time you haven't been gone long at all :rotfl2: My fellow crazy busy Momma!!:goodvibes
