DW and I just got back last week from our first visit since 2002. Since I got so much info from these boards, I feel the need to give back.
One dinner was House of Blues and was very nice. Happy with service and food, no issues.
Artists Point was our splurge for our 35th anniversary and it did not disappoint. Perhaps the best meal and service we have had in recent memory. I have the cornish hen and DW had the Salmon. We shared the berry cobler for desert. All outstanding! We loved this place. I have read about a dress code here. We came straight from MK on a Monday eve at 6:30. Not slobs but we were wearing shorts and t-shirts...no issues.
Kona: Based on everything I read on these boards, I had to go for breakfast. Naturally ordered the Tonga Toast. WOW...I loved it. Spoke with the chef and she told us that it is the only thing that has been on the menu since day 1. Worth the ADR and the price. Highly recommended.
Captains Grill: Friday evening dinner and again had a very good experience. Very knowledgeable server who recommended the braised short ribs. Got that and a pasta dish. Again, loved them both.
After Captains Grill, we walked over to Jellys because we like dueling Pianos. We did not enter because $12 each seemed steep for us at 9:30 when we were already tired and probably would have left at 10 anyway. Still, a nice walk on our way back to the Swan.
