This is my first time ever going to Disney, let alone Florida, and flying on an airplane. I have a few last minute questions. I am already about half packed. Could you guys please give me any basic last minute Disney tips it would be nice. Staying at AS Movie. As of right now here are my plans day to day. Leaving the 22nd. I would like to keep my fastpasses kind of near each other or plan it out nicely so I don't have to walk all the way across the park for one ride. I am going to go to hotel to swim/nap during mid day besides one day for parade. I want to make it to downtown disney a day but not sure when.

Looks like you have some great stuff lined up! Strategy is sound. You can always try for a 4th FP+ for Fantasmic! As mentioned in another recent thread they give you more choice in seating and are relatively easy to get.

I think you're gonna do just fine.

thank you, I will try to get the 4th for that

Looks like you have good plan. Personally I prefer my FPs to be in the morning, to make it possible to get additional FPs at kiosks. #1 tip is to get to the parks before rope drop, you can get on so many rides the first hour that the park is open before it gets crowded/hot. I like all your dining choices, for Epcot I would recommend Le Cellier (very good but very expensive) or Via Napoli (great pizza).

We are here now and this place is crazy crowded and busy. We come every year at this time and it has never been this crowded. Your plans look good but know that there are long fastpass wait lines. One woman said they waited over an hour in the fastpass line for Splash!! You have to come prepared for just about anything since there is no way of knowing how each park will be on a certain day

The key is getting to parks 45 min before the posted opening time because they let you in 15 min. early. I prefer later morning FP+ as a strategy in general. Ride stuff without fp+ first thing, then use fp then attempt to get 4th and so on. Middle of the day is soooooooooooo hot and soooooooooo crowded, it's just awful being in the parks imo. My son and I went in June and we left everyday and went back to hotel for 3-5 hours.
MK-I don't think you need to waste 2 fp+ on PP...riding it once is probably enough. Or strategy another day at MK is to go directly to it first thing. I would trade one of them for a 2nd Splash mountain one. :)
EPC-Make sure to do Test Track; so much fun! You'll have to head there at RD...if not, the line will be insane. Doubtful to be able to get a fp+ for later after you've used your others. Snacking around the World is fun; that's what ds and I did. France was our favorite! We also loved Germany, Norway and the flavored ice thing in Japan. Skip the CS Mexican place; worst food ever.
DHS-Don't be afraid of TOT. You'll survive. I am completely NOT a roller coaster OR free fall drop type person and though I hated it, i'm glad I did it. At RD, go to Rockin Roller Coaster....you'll be glad you did. :)
AK-Make sure to ride dinosaur. It's awesome! You'll problay be able to get fp+ for it after you've used your other 3, but....just in case, you might want to ride it first at RD.

Have a great time!

Personally I think you may want to build an "off day or morning" into your plans. I think it's pretty ambitious what you have planned. I would be exhausted and I've gone 12 times and kind of know how to pace my self. That being said everybody is different, see how you feel on day 3 after touring and be prepared to possibly juggle some of your later day FP's. I'd say this: Sat, Sun & Mon projected to be heavy crowds, lessens after that.
Sat: use your FP's as planned. Use the "touring plan" app (Pay for a subscription), with big crowds, check the wait times and see/do as many things that have shorter waits and check them off your to-do list.
Sun:It will be crowded but w/ FP's you should be good. Do DTD in the AM, sleep ina little so you're rested. In the evening knock off other attractions that you haven't seen earlier. The key on busy days is, if you're returning to a park on a later day, to not spend an hour in line if a less crowed day later will only cost you a 30 minute wait.
Mon: Crowded, but Epcot is good with crowds. FP's look good. If you can be there at rope drop, get right to Test Track, lines will be long all day.
Tues: Crowds lighten from this day on. Rope Drop for Rockin Roller Coaster if your looking to do that. However you will likely not be done with lunch by 1:25 and at Lil Mermaid. Really don't need FP for it, just see the next show. I love that show!!
Wed: Eat breakfast quick and right to the Ariel ride Under the sea before lines get too long.
Thurs: Looks good but you're gonna be beat!!!
Fri: Rope Drop for Space Mnt.

Just my 2 cents, there's a million ways to do it!! Have Fun!! If you're going back to hotel each day nap for an hour!!!
I'm jealous, Have a magical trip!!!!!!

What an exciting trip for you - lots of firsts! I think you have a solid plan. I agree with PP that you should try to fit in Test Track and get there right at RD for it to try to beat the crowds. Haunted Mansion is one of my absolute favorite rides. I wouldn't recommend skipping it.

We're going to be at a few of those parks the same days ! Also flying into MCO at 11am! Have fun, and remember to be flexible in your plans.

Good luck with your surprise ! :)

I like to get to the parks as early as possible. Some days that is preopening, some days that is 11am. Just depends on the kids, buses, breakfast, etc
As soon I enter Epcot I like to do Spaceship Earth. If you plan to enter Epcot at 11ish that is a great to time if not I'd make that time earlier or switch that fp for one at Test Track or elsewhere and just do the standby line for Spaceship Earth. I'd just rather do it first and not backtrack to the front of the park again. But that's a completely personal decision.
