Well, I think the title says it all. We are leaving on Thursday to arrive in WDW on Saturday. There has been so much build up, so much excitement. I feel like I am going to bust. I feel totally overwhelmed. Anyone else??????????????????????? How do you cope? BTW - My DD was to the doctor today adn they said she has an upper respiratory infection. ugh Tomorrow is other DD's last day of school and I was running around all day today getting things together for the school party. Anyway...just looking for ways to chillllllllll, Disney style......... :smooth:

I have no suggestions to help you chill, but pretty much feel the same way as you do.

We have 11 days until we leave and, yes, I am starting to feel abit stressed and hoping that none of my 3 children get sick in the next 2 weeks. How old are your children? How many times have you been to WDW? This will be our first trip. Our kiddos are 9, 4, 4 and I'm in charge of getting everything organized. These boards have been so helpful in preparing me for everything. The countdown begins for us and as others have told me, just relax and try to have a blast!!

I'm also very excited and can't wait until 6/17 when we leave. How excited are your children? Mine keep asking, "How many more days til we go to Disneyworld?" about 10 times a day.

Have a great trip!!!!!!!!

Bren

I wish I was going with you!!!! :goodvibes
I had so much fun planning our holiday and it was all worth it---it was a trip of a lifetime!
Have a great time-give Mickey a hug for all of us! :earboy2: :teeth:

I know just how you feel! Daughter and me will be flying Thursday morning and I'm terrified one of us will get ill or some other disaster. Had a panic over passports earlier! Hope it goes fab for all of us Disney fans.

My DDs are 5 (turning 6 in WDW) and 2 1/2. This is their first trip. They are so excited. We have kept a countdown on the wipeoff board in the kitchen since 70-some days! Now it is a menacing reminder to me...lol :rotfl:

Anyway, I am the primary organizer too so I am just trying to get SOOOOOOO many things squared away. I need to make a list but I am just not a list kind of person...haha

Anyway, I am sure that I will get through it. I am just feeling a little wound up. :earboy2:

Thanks for listening! :wave2:

Yes, I feeeeeellll your stress!!! We leave tommorrow morning and the last two days I have been on edge and bugging out about everything! The weather really got me into a tizzy yesterday and this morning...good thing I scheduled a pedicure this afternoon because it calmed me down and let met catch my bearings.

I'm the "primary organizer" as well and even though I have everything squared away I worry about the uncontrollables!

Wishing all of us in this position some sanity and relaxation when we hit our vacation!!

EVERYTHING WILL GO WELL!!!!

Everyone have a wonderful time in the "World"! Wish I was going with you. Babybeag:I hope your DD feels better!! :teeth:

Oh my gosh...you could be talking about me! We leave Friday early to arrive Sat late in WDW. First trip, myself, dh, ds4 & dd2.5...this morning ds woke up with sore throat and runny nose!!!! :guilty: And I've been a mess all day!

Already way stressed, I too am the primary planner and a bit on the obsesive side of that! Hee-Hee :goodvibes My dh has like No Idea about what we'll do which day or this or that...he says I can tell him on the car ride there! :sad2:

On top of all that, I got a very unexpected call this past Friday offering me a job. I have been a sahm for over 3 1/2 years now and this job is like a make your own hours and pretty decent $$. Of course they want an answer asap and want me to start the Monday after we get home!!! UGH!

Can You Say, "MELTDOWN"!!!!!!

Here's hoping all our trips are wonderful ones despite the growing nerves.

:earboy2: Dawn

Glad I am not the only one!!! :flower: Dh came home and gave me 45 minutes to "decompress". Of course, I HAD to fold laundry and put sheets back on the beds first...lol

But, I am feeling better and the girls are getting ready for bed. I will then be able to do my "best work" which is always in the evenings when it is quiet.

Thanks to everyone for listening!!!

Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flower:
