Here's the deal. We (me, my mom, Dh and 18 year old DS) are headed to Myrtle Beach in April to help my mom open up her vacation home. We are driving from NY and will arrive Sun. April 1. We then stay in MB that Monday and Tuesday. I was thinking of then waking early Wed. morning and driving down to WDW, about 8 hours. Having half a day Wed. and then staying all day Thurs. Fri. We have the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista booked for $49 each night. Then head back to MB on Sat. Have Easter in MB and then drive back to NY on Mon.

Is that too much running? Too much driving? Am I bonkers? Is it doable?

OR...

Does even 2 1/2 days in WDW sound great. Help!!!

I could argue either way on this one. I think it depends how much you like being in a car, compared to the benefit of going to Disney. Both of our most recent trips and the one coming up, we drove 6 hours to get there and spent less time in the parks than you are thinking of (3 park days, but on a toddler schedule), but we spent 4 nights on property. What does DS think? (Read that as: will he complain the whole way? :crowded: ) The drive from NY is a long one (My family is upstate, so I've driven there to Atlanta several times.)
