I am headed down to Universal studios and will have 3 full days to see the parks. Is that enough time. It will just be my wife and I.

Thanks

I would think 1 day per park is sufficient, so you will be fine with 3 days

That would be perfect. 1 full day for each park and then 1 day to hit the rides you enjoyed in both parks. Will you be staying on-property or off-property?

If you skip the "kiddie" rides in both parks and ride anything only once you can probably do both in 1 day. So 2 day is plenty and 3 may get boring.

I think three days is just right. You can take your time at both parks and have a third day to go back and hit the favs again. I think some of the "kiddie rides" are fun. Like The Flying Unicorn, Cat in the Hat, E.T. and the Seuss Landing skyride. Remember...this is NOT Disney and you should not rush through the experience. I hope you have a great time! :thumbsup2

We just spent 2 full days (End of May, beginning of June) there and did nearly everything. We had the 2 day tickets that grant 7 days admission so my youngest daughter & I went back to do Seuss Land.

I think we missed just a couple of shows - Poseidon's Fury, Fear Factor Live, and A Day in the Park with Barney. We didn't see those on purpose, though.

We did ride several things more than once.

We just got back last night:sad: and we went for 2 days and it was plenty of time. We did stay on site, so we didnt have to wait at all really and were able to enjoy the resort also in those 2 days. I would think even staying off site, skipping the kiddie rides as me and hubby did most of them, you could do it in 2 days also.. There were only 2 kid rides we enjoyed. 3rd day you could redo your favorites. We went to Sea World the 3rd day and regret it, I wished we had stayed at Universal/ IOA and did the rides more or planned something else the 3rd day.
So basically 3 days is PLENTY!!!! :thumbsup2

3 days is perfect in my opinion. Gives plenty of time to ride every ride, see every show and stroll through the parks to take in the atsmophere

Yeah, 3 days is PLENTY of time in Universal. you can go to universal studios and islands of adventure for the first two days. then, you can ride your favorites again and maybe even have a nice dinner and relax on the third day!!:)

if you are only doing the parks, 3 days should work for you.

i prefer staying 5 days so i can take in city walk and spend more time at the onsite hotel.

We like to spent two full days in each park, but three days should be fine. Just make sure to hit the major attractions first, which would be The Mummy, Men in Black, Shrek and ET at Universal Studios, and Spiderman, The Hulk, Dueling Dragons and Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure. You can spend one day at each park and use your third day to visit both parks and re-ride your favorite attractions.

Have fun!

I enjoyed your past reports and was wondering if you and your family were going again!!! Have a great trip and link to a report!!

OP,

Yes - 3 days are enough to see both parks. One whole day in each and one to hit all of the favorites!
