To begin with....sorry for the long post... LOL We're heading to Disney in about a month. We're heading to Florida about a week before to spend some time with family & see some other sites. We're doing 3 nights at POP, as are my parents. Originally we only had 2 day PH tickets, but are upgrading to 3 day instead. It's changing because we did have 'Ohana late breakfast reservations but have since cancelled that. None of us are big breakfast food eaters, so it seemed silly to pay that much for breakfast food. We have the free dining plan (Counter Service plan). We don't have any ADR's anymore, so it opens up our "freedom" a bit. Especially when we're so limited on time. Anyway... here's our "plan"

Day 1: Get to resort between 8-9 am. (My parents live about an hour away). Using online check-in. Go to AK for half of the day to do a couple things and grab a bite to eat. (Not our favorite park). Then head to DHS for the rest of the day/evening. We'll do a couple things, grab a bite to eat and then see Osborne Lights & Fantasmic. After that, head to the Poly for drink at the lounge & possibly the Water Pageant & See MVMCP Wishes from the beach. This seems to be our "bonus day as it was added on... There's really only a few things that we really want to do total. DS & DH want to RnRC and ToT... all depending, obviously. They will go off on their own. DHS closes at 8pm this day.

Day 2: Head to MK for the day. This will be a pretty full day. I already know I'd like to do Cosmic Ray's for a meal, but undecided for the 2nd CS meal yet. We were hoping for Pecos Bill, but that's changed and I'm not crazy about the current menu. So we're skipping that. EMH at MK is until midnight on this day, so we're planning on maximizing our time with that!

Day 3: EPCOT Day! This is also DH's birthday!!! This will be another full day. Our meals for this day will simply be "grazing" our way through Food & Wine Festival. We plan on using some snack credits (where it's a good value). This grazing will be our "meals" for the day. So odds are, no CS will be used - I know it's pretty controversial on if booths will take CS for 3 credits, but we're not counting on it at all. EMH at EPCOT is until 11pm on this day, so again, we're maximizing our time!

That's it - then we leave the next day... We know we'll be tired, but with only going for a few days, we'd like to pack as much in as possible. It's me, DH, 14yo DS, 10yo DD, and my parents.

So, is this too much or completely do-able? Also any suggestions on CS meals at AK, DHS, and MK would be GREAT! Like I said, we have the free dining, but still want to get the best value. We will be sharing meals as my daughter doesn't eat much at all. And personally, I don't like to be stuffed and walk around, riding rides, so I don't want big meals. It's been 8 years since I've been there - WAY TOO LONG!!! We're also hoping for a bounceback offer as well... so fingers crossed on that!

Thanks in advance!

That is exactly what I would do if I only had 3 days: split a day between AK and HS, and a full day each for MK and Epcot. As far as another counter service in MK, we love Columbia Harbor House. It's right around the corner from Fantasyland (closer to Haunted Mansion) and they have great sandwiches and some good seafood entrees too (fish and chips-type baskets). They do tend to get crowded at peak lunch time so we always try to eat lunch there around 11am or so. And there are upstairs tables as well. So if you don't find a table downstairs, head up there. A lot of folks don't realize that and one time it was crazy crowded downstairs, and almost empty upstairs! Have fun!

We just got back from two full days (Magic Kingdom-MNSSHP- and Epcot) and felt like we really did a lot! You will be tired, but you'll still have fun! I just wanted to let you know that I had zero problems with at least someone nearby knowing how to convert the meals to snacks. I had two CMs who didn't know how, but just asked and the other person knew. In Norway, actually in the bakery, there was a little print out by the cash register on how to do it, so it's a "known" thing.

I second Columbia Harbour House. Their Lighthouse sandwich is to die for if you like hummus! My kids like the fish and chips.

Thanks! I know we'll be tired for sure. I figure it's just a couple days, so we'll make it through LOL The last time we went our kiddos were 2 & 6. Now, 8 years later... it should be a lot easier, I hope! As far as Columbia Harbour House - that's a place none of us have ever done. I'm not sure why, but it looks/sounds delicious!!! We've just always done Cosmic Rays & Pecos Bill... LOL
