We are heading to DW for our 29th anniversary in December this year, going to do a fun split stay. Our first 3 days will be at AKL after a long drive down. I think I want to do resort only for this part. Hubs has never been here and it is such a nice relaxing resort. Do you think we can fill 3 days chillin'?

Absolutely - at least, we enjoy just hanging out there. You have two buildings, two lobbies, 2 pools, 3 great restaurants, artwork, hosts from various African countries who are delightful and knowledgeable, oh … and live animals.

Yes, if you are proactive about reserving restaurants and, if interested, the Starlight Safari. I would suggest you have in your pocket the options to go to one of the Disney mini golf facilities or Disney Springs as well, as three full days just at AKL is probably at or just over the line of too much for some.

I am really torn about going to AK for one day even though we would be going mostly to see Lion King and take the Safari. I will look into the Starlight Safari..Thanks!
