Hi Everyone,

I have my trip planned for this September. We have 3 adults plus a 15 month old going. I originally booked 2 rooms at Pop Century but am wondering if we would be able to fit comfortably in one room instead. With the baby we will probably be in the room for a couple hours in the evening after she goes to bed. Will we be too camped in one room or is it doable? I would really like to save the $100/night on the second room. Thanks for your help!

Melissa

In my opinion you will be too cramped. :crowded:

I stayed there by myself, and I thought it was a perfect size--for one. I remeber thinking that it would be fine for DH and I, but I would not want to share the space with any more full sized folks.

IMHO, I think fitting two adults on one of those beds is unrealistic. BUT...you could do it if one of you were skinny. You could put the baby in a crib, and that would leave 3 adults on two full beds.:3dglasses

That statement makes me giggle. Most married adults slept in beds that size up until recent years. My parents didn't get a queen sized bed until the 1990's and my dad was a big guy.

I realize that now most of us have queen or king sized beds at home, but this is a relatively recent trend (Last 25-30 years)

I totally understand the temptation to save the extra room cost, but in all honesty it would be very cramped. Where would the adults go when the baby is going to sleep? And after the baby is asleep would you have to be pretty quiet, no light or TV etc?

With 2 rooms, possibly connecting, you have 2 bathrooms and a place for adults to relax while the baby is going to sleep/sleeping. The rooms are quite small ~ comfy for 2 adults - although I have friends who have squeezed 4 adults in there for a weekend, only using the room to sleep!

Certainly, it can be done, but I'd really try to go with the 2 rooms.

Whatever you decide, hope you have a magical time! :)

Hee, i'm staying at asmu with my DH, mom, and dd. Were all close so we should be fine:rotfl2: We only need a place to stay, then were off to a three room condo... I hope you have a fun trip which ever you choose....

Well we did it with 2 adults, a teen who is a lot bigger than I am and an 8 yr old so I think you will be fine. If the baby won't sleep in it's stroller so you can stay out after it is asleep, couldn't the other adults go to the pool or walk around or something? Is there any reason you all have to sit in the room all evening? When mine were younger we just left them sleep in the stroller till we were ready to go back. But whatever, I think you will be fine.

I have one room booked in November for 5 nights for 3 adults and a 8 year old.

I took my youngest at 11 months & 21 months. She slept well in her stroller on those trip. My kids also tend to sleep very well at WDW-except for the 11 month trip. She wasn't walking so she napped a lot in the stroller and wasn't sleeping well at night. We didn't have that problem on the 21 month trip or any other trip since.
