Hi,
We have 3:30pm Ohana ADR on our arrival day and a 5:10-6:10 FP+ for TSMM. Will we make it? 3:30 is opening for dinner at Ohana so hoping to be seated quickly and get served quickly. Since there will be a direct bus from the Poly to DHS I am hoping we can make it for our FP. Any thoughts?
Thanks!!

45 Days!!! :tigger:

I would say it's highly unlikely. But you may squeeze in at the very last minute. Your meal alone is going be an hour to an hour and a half. Then you have to catch the bus which could be up to a twenty minute wait depending on if you just missed the previous one, then transfer time, bag/metal detector check, etc. I will be a close cal.

Can you tweak your TSMM time at all ? But as long as you get seated on time, you should be ok. Ohana does tend to bring the food out fairly quickly. Some people even feel rushed there.

I think you can probably make it.

Would I do it? No. I hate rushing through something to make it to something else.

The buses from Poly to HS are not a shining moment for transportation. If you're willing to rush dinner and use Uber, sure.

How do you arrive? What time?
I never make an ADR on arrival day sooner than 5 hours after scheduled arrival time. Travel delays - any and all method of travel - are frequent, unpredictable and uncontrollable. You will be charged a $10/person no show fee if you miss your ADR.
I think getting to DHS in time for your FP+ is very tight. I agree with the others, you will be rushing an expensive dinner.
All told, too stressful a start to vacation for me.
Best of Luck

Do you tend to get stressed out? I do. I would not do it BUT if you're more relaxed I DO think it's possible to arrive by 6:10pm for your FP. Arrive early for your 'Ohana res!

The restaurant opens at 3:30. The reservation is at 3:30.

I wouldn't expect early arrival to make a lick of difference.

We are flying in from Philly on 6:05am flight so will have plenty of time to chill out before ADR. I would love to try to see if there are later FP+ for TSMM but I have 3 back to back 5:10-6:10 6:10-7:10 and 7:10-8:10 so when I try to modify it will not show me any PF+ availability before 8:10. Very frustrating. My 6:10-7:10 is Muppets which I have been told does not really require a FP+ so I may try and cxl that one to see if I can push TSMM back.

I do hate to rush on our first day. If I could buy us another 30 minutes to an hour I know we can relax.

I am still hoping they extend DHS hours in early Sept and include SW fireworks.

Thanks everyone for the replies!!!

So September is probably the slowest month at Disney. You most likely won't even need a TSMM FP now that they have the third track up and running. The wait times on slower days have been 15-20 minutes lately. What is your FP at 7:10 for? What you can do is change the time of that one fp to early in the day, then go back and try to change the TSMM FP to that slot, or even change your muppets fp to a time early in the day, then it will let you alter the time of the TSMM pass. You really won't need a pass for muppets especially in September.

I pushed muppets to morning and TSMM was still not avail in 6:10-7:10 window. I hate to bump ToT 7:10-8:10 to see if there is a TSMM in that window as I could lose that one. Lol. It is like jenga. Thx for the advice!! Going to keep tweaking.

Yikes that sounds like a big stressfull rush. Too close I think. The dinner is too nice to rush even if it all works to make that possible. and still would be very tight. Maybe with Uber?

I think we may be on the same flight out of Philly lol. Our flight on 9/3 is also 6:05am with Southwest!

That's the one. We will be the family of 5 frantically trying to find 5 seats together. First time we have flown Sothwest so it should be interesting. Haha.
That's so cool, we'll be on the same flight!! We are also a family of 5, and my niece will be sitting on a lap.. I am more nervous about her very first flight, but I am sure she'll be fine since it is pretty short. I have never flown SW before but the rest of my family has and they love it. Did you get early bird check in?

I'm in the minority here, I think you'll be fine with your timeframe. It'll be closer to the end of your FP+ window, but you can make that as long as there's no dilly dallying. Enjoy!!

I bet you would be able to make it, but I wouldn't try.
'Ohana is a great (and expensive) experience, not one that I would want to rush through. At Disney, I like to be on vacation time.

That is awesome. We did do EB check in. Was not going to take any chances but still worried about getting a mid to lower boarding assignment. It will be our 3 kids 1st flights too but they are ages 10-15 so should be a good experience for them.

What a difference a day makes. Moved Muppets to morning again and modified my TSMM and got the 6:05-7:05 FP+. Just plopped the Muppets in the 5:05-6:05 slot. I'm not nearly as worried about missing that as standby will be short wait. Whew. I feel much better now. We definitely do not want to feel like we need to rush out. I did Ohana when I was a kid and want to share that same experience with my kids!! Thanks everyone for your honest feedback!!!
