3/28FINALLY COMPLETED*August 2013*I can't go to Disney without a Pete!

Boy, Pete can really sleep. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

He REALLY can sleep. He will let his alarm go off for so long and when he used to have to go to work before me, it drove me nuts! Now I'm up first and it's not such a hassle :)
But, like I mentioned earlier, the poor guy had been working for like a year straight with a handful of days off, so he deserved all the sleep in time :goodvibes

I clearly thought Dumbo was super cute.

So you're into guys with big ears, huh? :lmao:

The thing about Pete, is that he sleeps really really hard. So my phone calls and texts all morning were of no avail. So, I figured I would just go to Epcot on my own and that he had to wake up at some point!

The guy just worked 17 years straight! Let him sleep!!

I really enjoyed Living with the Land and knew that Pete would really like this ride.

I've never had any interest in going on that one.
But everybody keeps saying it's really good, so...

Guess I'll have to try it out and see what all the fuss is about.

Our dream is to one day have an alpaca farm!

That's cool.

As sad as this tuna looks, it was pretty good!

The only way tuna looks good is when it's still swimming.
But it does taste good.

My fave way is (this is the what my DMom used to do when we had company over .... oh about 623 years ago)

Tuna Buns

Mix 1 tin of tuna with 1 tin Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup.
Mix in chopped celery and onion.
Spread (open face) on hamburger buns
Cook in oven set at 350 until hot.

Easy and delish.

Don't know how that'd work or what you'd have to substitute for a guten free diet.

I kept calling Pete and couldn't get a hold of him, so I finally just called the resort and had them call the room.

FINALLY HE IS UP!

Just couldn't take having all that fun on your own anymore, huh? :lmao:

Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

While I love a good thrill ride, I also love good educational ride :goodvibes. I thought it was really need to see where they were growing things and to hear about the new ways they are doing things. I also think its really cool that the stuff grown there is used at Garden Grill!

It wasn't so much that I was sick of being on my own, I was just sick of waiting for him! I tried to do things that I knew he probably wouldn't want to do and had gotten through them. We were also losing a lot of opportunities to get FPs! I was also waiting for him to get a real lunch and that tuna didn't hold me over so well :rolleyes1

As it started to drizzle, Pete finally got to Epcot and met up with me. He calls Epcot "the dad park" because it seems to have the most opportunities for dads to have a beer and finally relax while all their kids run around :rotfl:

We hit up Cool Club for some Beverly.

IMG_4138.jpg

IMG_4136.jpg

Despite the look on his face, he actually claimed that he liked it, which I figured he would. He seems to really enjoy drinks that taste like cough syrup and licorice and other terrible things.

_MG_9567.jpg

We hit up Spaceship Earth real quick and then headed off to start exploring the world.

Our primero stop was Mexico for my favorite drink at Disney, an avocado margartia at La Cava :lovestruc
photo-1-1.jpg

We stopped in Norway to say find some of Pete's friends.
tumblr_mrsk338gA61qa6z90o1_500.jpg

We then ran into Snow White just in time and I managed to get the last place in line while Pete ran for a pretzel and a beer to wash his margarita down with.
tumblr_mrsmt1bsnS1qa6z90o1_500.jpg

Snow loved my tattoos and asked if she was anywhere on there and I was just like whoa girl, you're cute but lets slow down here.
IMG_4146.jpg

IMG_4148.jpg

A giant reptile was trying to attack the train village, but upon observance, he seemed to be a pretty nice guy. Maybe more of the protector type.
_MG_9579.jpg

I then ran into the Christmas shop and stayed there for as long as I could and had a really hard time picking out just one ornament. If Pete knows whats good for him, he'll probably propose to me in a Christmas shop at Disney, because those are my two favorite things.
IMG_4150.jpg

I ended up with a pickle ornament so we could play the pickle ornament game (which I do not remember currently).

We stopped in China and used the bathroom and Pete grabbed a drink somewhere, but I guess we didn't take any photos there.

We then went over to a very hot and sunny Italy.
tumblr_mrsowzoPGx1qa6z90o1_500.jpg

If you haven't noticed by now, Pete's goal was to fully drink around the world. I did not even bother to try and keep up.

We asked a lady to try and take our photo in Italy. It was way too bright out and she couldn't see the screen on my phone but for a blind photo, I think it came out ok:goodvibes
IMG_4152.jpg

This guy came out as we were leaving Italy, so we walked a little faster, because who actually likes constant whistle blowing? I'm sure it would of been a great little show with out that.
IMG_4156.jpg

Some views!
epcotedit2.jpg

epcotedit.jpg

We then ran went to meta America and had a taste of home and a Pete got a Jalepeno Cream Cheese Pretzel.

more drinking and some actual eating around the world up next!

yay! Pete finally woke up! He sure is a sound sleeper!

Pete is the first person I've heard that has had the Beverly treatment that likes it! That is so funny. I've tried the vile stuff and I'd rather drink motor oil.

You look very happy in the Christmas store in Germany. Did you happen to see the Belle ornaments that are a horrible representation of her likeness?? I always laugh when I see those since you would think they could have done better.

Pete is doing a fine job in his attempt to drink around the world! :thumbsup2

Is that a Disney pink cell phone case? I can't quite tell but I have one that I got a couple months ago. It has Mickey heads in the stitching and is a satiny fabric. (I'm really bad at describing it. ha ha!)

I'm glad to see that Pete woke up from his nap just in time to eat and drink around the world!

Cute picture with Snow White.

For the woman who couldn't see in your phone, I think that is a great picture of you two.

Pete really loves Fernet, which I think is terrible. It's supposed to be a digestif, but I definitely feel more like puking afterwards. To me, Beverly and Fernet taste almost exactly the same so I knew he was going to be one of the freaks who liked it :rolleyes2

If I did see the Belle ornaments, I don't quite remember them. I was so giddy there that I don't remember much!

It is a Disney wristlet/phone case but it's red and has Minnie stitched in! I bought it our first day there and it made my life so much easier because I could fit my phone (which was my main camera) and all my cards in it and didn't have to dig around in my back pack for them. I also eventually go the Minnie case with the ears for my phone and be background of my phone is my dog in my Minnie ears, because if you're going to like something, like it as obnoxiously as possible, right?

haha He wouldn't miss it! He probably would of spent the whole trip at Epcot if he could of!

Snow was really sweet! She told Pete to jump in the photo and I was like Snow are you making moves on my guy and I think she got really embarrassed! It was so cute!

We were blindly having our photo taken and she was blindly taking it and it's not half bad! Disney magic! pixiedust:

He calls Epcot "the dad park" because it seems to have the most opportunities for dads to have a beer and finally relax while all their kids run around :rotfl:

Makes sense...

I'll drink to that.

Despite the look on his face, he actually claimed that he liked it, which I figured he would. He seems to really enjoy drinks that taste like cough syrup and licorice and other terrible things.

It's no fun when the person you're trying to prank won't play along!

Cute pic.

We stopped in Norway to say find some of Pete's friends.

:rotfl: He does look like he belongs!

Snow loved my tattoos and asked if she was anywhere on there and I was just like whoa girl, you're cute but lets slow down here.

:lmao:

That pic cracks me up.
Pete looks like, "Hey! Check it out! It's Snow White! And she's holding my arm!"

A giant reptile was trying to attack the train village,

OH MY GAWD!!!!

but upon observance, he seemed to be a pretty nice guy. Maybe more of the protector type.

oh.

<phew!!>

I then ran into the Christmas shop and stayed there for as long as I could

Until Pete dragged you out, kicking and screaming?

You should so post it if there's a video.

If Pete knows whats good for him, he'll probably propose to me in a Christmas shop at Disney, because those are my two favorite things.

 Does Pete read this TR?

I ended up with a pickle ornament so we could play the pickle ornament game (which I do not remember currently).

::yes:: We have a pickle ornament... only now the DDs decorate the tree and hide it from us!

We stopped in China and used the bathroom and Pete grabbed a drink somewhere, but I guess we didn't take any photos there.

Then it didn't happen. Ya gots no proof!

more drinking and some actual eating around the world up next![/CENTER]

Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

Man, so, sorry to have pretty much like abandoned ship here. October is a busy month and man, the Disboards have just been so full of negativity that I've been trying to stay away.

But anyways, back to drinking about the world!

Up next was Japan.

tumblr_mrsr6csNY41qa6z90o1_500.jpg

Pete grabbed a Kirin and we went into the shop so I could pick a pearl. We don't have any actual photos of it because Pete ended up videoing the whole thing. I had no idea it was such an experience (and especially after a few drinks, wow.)! I really wish I could post the video. I got what seems to be the average size of like 7 1/4. I really wanted to get it set in a ring, but decided to try and find something on Etsy instead. I still have yet to do so.

After all the excitement, we went over to Morocco. I had heard rave reviews about Tangierine Cafe, especially being gluten free, so I had been holding out to eat there.

I was not disappointed at all. -a disclaimer- I was so hungry (and again, a few drinks in) at this point, that I didn't ask for or tell them that I was gluten free. For me, it's just an intolerance and eating gluten can be painful and unpleasant, but usually will not ruin my whole day. So I just blindly ordered the falafel and got the baklava for Pete.

810a1794-e4d0-44f8-b792-d7de10eddb4f.jpg

It was so good. We inhaled it and contemplated getting another order of it, but we had diner reservations coming up so we tried to practice a little self control (at disney?! what!)

_MG_9593.jpg

We then strolled over to France.
tumblr_mrsv6gDNq21qa6z90o1_500.jpg

Aurora was due to come out so we hopped in line. This may have been one of the best experiences of waiting in line that we had the whole trip. There was a mother in front of us who was DEFINITELY enjoying her vacation and the drink in her hand. She was very very nice and very entertaining to talk to.

IMG_4162.jpg

Aurora must have just gotten up from a nap and had very little to talk about. I do love the new dress but the sleeves weird me out a little. Too much like having tights on your arms.

We then headed over to Canada and I got my Snow White on and made a new friend.

IMG_4167.jpg

IMG_4172.jpg

Ill be training animals to clean my house and sew me dresses in no time.

At this point it was almost time for our dinner res over at the Coral Reef, so we headed out of WS and went to check in. Pete was bummed that he wouldn't have enough time to finish drinking around the world, but at this point we were more than ready for dinner.

IMG_4180.jpg

I was a little nervous about going to Coral Reef because I had heard so many negative things about it, but I really loved the idea of a huge aquarium and Pete loves aquariums, so I figured we had to at least see for ourself. They gave us a primo spot. I was immediately thrilled.

IMG_4181.jpg

IMG_4183.jpg

I had marked on our reservations that I was gluten free, and the server (who was a delight) brought me out some gluten free bread to nibble on.
IMG_4185.jpg

It was nothing to rave about, but neither is most GF bread. It was at least warm and a good vehicle for butter.

The chef came out to talk to us and I ordered the New York Strip steak because I am 100% a steak and potatoes kinda girl. If I can't have bread, at least give me all the meat and potatoes you have.

IMG_4186.jpg

Pete is allergic to fish (WE ARE RISK TAKERS) so he got the Soy and Ginger braised Beef Short Rib.
IMG_4188.jpg

My steak was lovely. Im not much of a food reviewer, but it was a lovely meal. Pete liked the short rib but thought that basically everything else on the plate was unnecessary. The "buns" they have to put all the ingredients in were flavorless and a weird consistency and he felt that there was just too much sauce on everything.

_MG_9606.jpg

_MG_9609.jpg

Otherwise we did enjoy the meal. I got a gluten free brownie to go, which I think I ended up eating a bite or two out of. The restaurant was lovely and if you get the opportunity to sit right next to the aquarium, it's totally worth it. Service was friendly and efficient. I had heard a few places that the restaurant was really loud, but we didn't experience that at all. No children wandered over to our table to look at the aquarium either, which was nice.

We returned back to the resort and passed out, as we had a date with some princesses in the morning.
IMG_4191.jpg

I woke up so early this morning becaaaaaaaaaause WE WERE HAVING BREAKFAST WITH CINDY and man I hate waking up but I was up and getting ready before my alarm even went off.

I forgot to mention that Pete bought me this necklace in Epcot.
photo-3.jpg

We had seen similar ones in the Emporium last year, but I couldn't justify the price. This one was pretty reasonable and I was debating on whether or not to buy it and Pete just told me that I was a Princess and deserved whatever I wanted and brought it to the counter and got it for me. :lovestruc It was the perfect thing to wear to our Princess breakfast.

Our reservation was for 9am and I wanted to get there no later than 8:45. We left at 8 and ended up getting there just before 8:30. I figured they would make us wait a little while to head in but they didnt! I was so excited to have so much time to take empty park/main street photos!

Despite how much time I put into looking my best that morning, it was a billion degrees out already and I was SAWET-ING. I was kind of horrified at how some of our morning photos came out (Pete's arm makes me look like a hunchback and bright light that early is not kind!) but it was so amazing either way.
IMG_4193.jpg

(neither of us are this round and sweaty in real life :confused3 )

photo-2-1.jpg

Sweatiest Princess!

Even though we took our time, we still got to the CRT super early. The CM's checking people in said if someone didn't show we could go in early, but we were happy to wait either way.
_MG_9622.jpg

_MG_9623.jpg

_MG_9629.jpg

_MG_9636.jpg

IMG_4198.jpg

Again we lucked out and got an awesome (and sunny) table overlooking Fantasy land and the carousel.

Regrettably, the meal just went down hill from here. I had read that breakfast at CRT was pointless if you were GF, but I had planned on getting the steak and eggs and thought it would be fine. First of all, our server seemed annoyed in general just to be there. I get that they are just trying to turn tables, but man, he must of gotten up on the wrong side of the castle. He wouldn't even serve me OJ until the chef came out to talk to me about the gluten free options. The chef who came out was lovely and he said they had GF french toast and my eyes almost fell out of my head! I knew they had gf waffles, which were just sad toaster oven waffles, but no one had ever said anything about french toast! YES SIGN ME UP!! Pete ordered the steak and eggs.
IMG_4203.jpg

Pete's steak and eggs? Awesome. So so good.
But this was my french toast.
IMG_4205.jpg

I could not believe that this was what they brought me. They were so dry and crunchy and I don't know that I ate more than a bite. Pete let me eat most of his breakfast. The server didnt seem to notice at all and I had heard that you can order more food but he was just so grumpy that I felt bad bothering him. Sigh. OH well. I went in knowing that the food wouldnt be that good and was really just paying to get time with the princesses and get empty park photos.

IMG_4199.jpg

Snow came around first and I had to instruct Pete afterward that he really needs to stand up to take these photos because I can not have a double chin with the Princesses.
IMG_4201.jpg

Again, Aurora must have just been fresh off a nap. Girl seems tired all the time.
IMG_4207.jpg

Ariel was obviously perfect. She was so bubbly (hah get it?) and so sweet and I could of just squeezed her.
IMG_4209.jpg

I ended up accidentally putting my hand on Jasmine's butt during this photo, but I'm guessing she get's that a lot maybe? She didn't seem to notice.

_MG_9640.jpg

_MG_9646.jpg

our lovely, goofy photo with Cinderella.
photo1.jpg

It was getting hot and busy, so we made our way out and headed over to Animal Kingdom!

Uhhhh your CRT French toast looks awful! Sorry about that. But you had great photos with the princesses. And that photo of you with the castle in the background before your breakfast is awesome!!

What a guy to buy you the Mickey ears rhinestone necklace - very lovely!

I haven't been to Coral Reef in years but one of the times that we sat next to the aquarium we were invaded by little munchkins. The steak was good but I don't really eat fish so I find little else on the menu that excites me. However... I love the décor and the theming. Definitely worth trying this place.

That squirrel was certainly loving you! Once he's done cleaning your house, please send him my way! ;)

I really couldn't believe how bad the french toast is. They can make GF mickey waffles anywhere else on property, so I don't get why they at least don't have that option. Oh well. Lesson learned.

I'm definitely glad we went to Coral Reef but I don't know if we'd go again because again, Pete is allergic to fish and I'm just not big on fish in general. I really think we lucked out with our table and we went on night where the restaurant was pretty quiet in general.

I didn't even have food in my hand when that squirrel came up to me! He just wanted to be friends :)

Fun updates!

We LOVE Coral Reef and are eating there next month for our Candlelight Processional dinner. I may just have to order that steak.

Would you believe in over 24+ visits, we have NEVER eaten in the castle. I thought of it for this next trip, but then I saw the prices and that thought went right out the window. I'm not paying that much money for mediocre food (I'll go stand in line to see the princesses).

I love your photos in front of the castle (sweaty or not), and the photos with all the princesses are adorable.

Love your report and photos.

We ate at the Coral Reef many years ago when they had divers come down into the tank and hold up signs. I had a diver display a message for my DS. I was also able to send them photos which they put onto the menu for us. It was really cool. To bad they no longer provide that service. Back then, the food was really good. We haven't been back to eat there since.

It's been over two months since our trip. It's still tough to get rid of the depression. It's a joy looking at your photos to re-live the memories.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

While MY food and our server specifically were a let down, the over all experience was really nice. I want to at least go back for dinner, which I've heard is more worth your while. We were on the dining plan so I didn't have to think about the price of the meal TOO much :rolleyes2

I would of loved to see divers! Over all the food was great, Pete's meal was just a little confused and perhaps overloaded? Too busy.

I'm still so homesick and am constantly nagging Pete about when we're going next. I feel incredibly anxious not having another trip lined up yet! We're for sure going next Aug again, but I'd love to do a weekend in March to hold us over! fingers crossed!!

It doesn't look good for any trips to the magic in the near future. pixiedust: I was trying to put something together for the MLK weekend in January. But DW shot that down. DS and I really want to go back soon! He keeps asking me if we could go back for a weekend just to get his fill. I really don't think we'll be going next year. Maybe the following year. Don't know if we could wait that long!

Man, so, sorry to have pretty much like abandoned ship here.

Yeah? What's with that?

What?

What about my own TR....

ummm......

That's okay! You take as much time as you need!

October is a busy month and man, the Disboards have just been so full of negativity that I've been trying to stay away.

I avoid the negative threads like the plague.
I just don't have the time, or the desire to get sucked into that.

Pete grabbed a Kirin and we went into the shop so I could pick a pearl.

We haven't done that in Disney, but we did let the DDs do it in Hawaii.

I had no idea it was such an experience (and especially after a few drinks, wow.)!

I really wish I could post the video.

You can! Just upload it and link to it just like you would a photo.
Make sure you tell people to click the picture to see the video.

I'm sure we'd all love to see it.

Self control and Disney are not usually synonymous.

We then strolled over to France.
tumblr_mrsv6gDNq21qa6z90o1_500.jpg

I was a little worried at first until I double checked which finger Pete was holding up.

Aurora was due to come out

Disney is becoming more and more progressive, no?

This may have been one of the best experiences of waiting in line that we had the whole trip. There was a mother in front of us who was DEFINITELY enjoying her vacation and the drink in her hand. She was very very nice and very entertaining to talk to.

Well, you'd think that she'd have slept enough by now...

I do love the new dress but the sleeves weird me out a little. Too much like having tights on your arms.

Says the girl with a sleeve on her arm? :rotfl:

Ill be training animals to clean my house and sew me dresses in no time.

Sweet! Animal slavery!

I was a little nervous about going to Coral Reef because I had heard so many negative things about it,

Not from me. I've been at least three times and enjoyed it every time.

They gave us a primo spot. I was immediately thrilled.

Great spot. Although I can't order seafood there.
I keep thinking that the fish are looking in and seeing what happened to cousin Myrtle or something.

The chef came out to talk to us and I ordered the New York Strip steak because I am 100% a steak and potatoes kinda girl. If I can't have bread, at least give me all the meat and potatoes you have.

A girl after my own heart.

Ummm.... I mean that figuratively...

Pete is allergic to fish (WE ARE RISK TAKERS)

Huh.
My DW is allergic to fish too, but we still ate there as well.

No children wandered over to our table to look at the aquarium either, which was nice.

Never experienced that either, but I would not be happy about it.

I forgot to mention that Pete bought me this necklace in Epcot.

Very nice.

Aww. You should probably keep him.

(neither of us are this round and sweaty in real life :confused3 )

I dunno. I just see a nice picture of a lovely young couple.
(Gawd, I sound like an old geezer!)

Anyway, I don't see sweaty. I see happy.

Sweatiest Princess!

Congrats!

Where's your crown?
You need a crown.

Again we lucked out and got an awesome (and sunny) table overlooking Fantasy land and the carousel.

Nice. :thumbsup2

First of all, our server seemed annoyed in general just to be there. I get that they are just trying to turn tables, but man, he must of gotten up on the wrong side of the castle.

Too bad.
Kinda ruins the whole 'princess' ambiance.

But this was my french toast.
IMG_4205.jpg

That looks...
I'll say awful. And even that's pretty charitable.

Snow came around first and I had to instruct Pete afterward that he really needs to stand up to take these photos because I can not have a double chin with the Princesses.

Again, Aurora must have just been fresh off a nap. Girl seems tired all the time.

Occupational hazzard?

Ariel was obviously perfect. She was so bubbly (hah get it?) and so sweet and I could of just squeezed her.

But then you'd have water all over the floor.

I ended up accidentally putting my hand on Jasmine's butt during this photo, but I'm guessing she get's that a lot maybe? She didn't seem to notice.

:rotfl2: And where exactly is her hand?
Maybe Aurora isn't the only princess coming out...

:rolleyes1:

It was getting hot and busy, so we made our way out and headed over to Animal Kingdom!

Can't wait to read all about it.
Thanks for posting! :goodvibes

If flights weren't so expensive, I would totally shoot down for a weekend just to get my fix as often as I could!

We haven't done that in Disney, but we did let the DDs do it in Hawaii.

Isn't everything more of an experience after a few drinks??? ;)

So true :) We definitely tell people that Disney is a lot more fun as an adult because you're able to add a drink or two to the magic :cool1:

You can! Just upload it and link to it just like you would a photo.
Make sure you tell people to click the picture to see the video.

I'm sure we'd all love to see it.
seems easy enough! I'll try to include that next!

And did it turn out to be "painful and unpleasant"? or were you okay?
The day was pretty hazy at that point :cool2: but I think I ended up a with a bit of a tummy ache. It could of also been from the grease. It's hard to say

I was a little worried at first until I double checked which finger Pete was holding up.
When I posted that photo on instagram someone commented saying the guy throwing away his trash must of been double taking to see what he was holding up :goodvibes

Well, you'd think that she'd have slept enough by now...
Says the girl with a sleeve on her arm? :rotfl:
RIGHT?!
but MY sleeve doesn't look like nylons!

Not from me. I've been at least three times and enjoyed it every time.
Great spot. Although I can't order seafood there.
I keep thinking that the fish are looking in and seeing what happened to cousin Myrtle or something.

That's nice to hear! I feel like it gets a lot of flack around here! It is kind of sick that they have all the fish there watching you eat their friends! Especially after getting of the ride next door where they are trying to preach "fish are friends, not food". Make up your minds!

Aww. You should probably keep him.
I certainly plan on it :goodvibes

I dunno. I just see a nice picture of a lovely young couple.
(Gawd, I sound like an old geezer!)

Anyway, I don't see sweaty. I see happy.

Where's your crown?
You need a crown.
don't I know it.

That looks...
I'll say awful. And even that's pretty charitable.
it was seriously just so bad. I got gluten free mickey waffles at the quick service at the all star music cafe and they were literally way WAY better. So disappointing. :sad2:

It was really rainy here in Boston yesterday and while feeling very homesick and looking through all my photos of home I found this one that I had forgot to post when we were in HS.

I'd rather be in the rain at Disney any day.

Another update soon!

After our bittersweet Princess Breakfast, we hopped over to Animal Kingdom!

It was a lovely day at Ak, but it for sure is at least a few degrees hotter there than any other park. We had been handling the heat pretty well up to this point, but yikes! What a sweaty park!

We headed straight for the safari hoping to still catch some of the animals that only come out early in the morning. But it was definitely already a million degrees out. One million.

The babies! I definitely voted on the name, but have no idea which name I voted for :confused3 It probably won though, right? I have great taste.

After the safari, we had worked up quite a beastly hunger and beelined it for Flame Tree BBQ. I had heard nothing but awesome things, especially for Gluten Free peeps, and Lord knows I LOVE a good pulled pork. When we ordered the manager came right out and brought out the allergy binder. She was super duper nice and I was so excited to actually be able to eat pulled pork on a bun!

We took our lunch down to the seating area down behind Flame Tree and had a lovely lunch with a great view of the Himalayas!

We then we were wandering around and I remembered the flights of wonder show and we passed it just as it was starting! Pete loves birds and this show was definitely pretty cool. Next time we're gunna sit right in the middle so a bird can try to eat Pete's hand/take his dollar.

Then it was time for our favorite Disney ride! LETS FIND THE YETI!
The line was pretty long, so we grabbed some fps and headed over to Dinosaur and then to FoTLK. We were Giraffes!

Then we ran into the parade, waved at Minnie and turned right around!

Saw some roos.

IMG_4235.jpg

Took some pics.

Then we went to trak down that yeti. And this was the perfect time to do so. We used our Fps and as we came back out of the shop they were telling everyone the FP line was closed because stand by was so short. We obviously went again. And again. And again and again and again. I think like 9 times?

It was the best. We asked the CM working the line if it was always like this at the end of the day and he said yep! This is the best time to ride! So after the parade, head straight there and keep running on! We were in either row 13 or 14 everytime execept for one, where we were in the front. The ride is way different from the front to the back!

We went on some different rides, but we were really just there to ride Everest as much as possible. We went on Kali River Rapids right before leaving and despite wearing my poncho, I still got SOAKED.

Next up, we head back to the room for a surprise and off to a "family" dinner!!
