Gotta keep this thread alive!

So let's see, what restaurant do you think you will like most and why?

The Brew Pub... no wait that was another thread

I'm looking forward to Animators Palate - mostly because my kids are and I can't wait to see their reactions.

Georgianne

Georgianne,

We are also looking forward to Animator's Palate because we did not have the chance to eat there on our last cruise... That was the nite that we booked at Palo. So that will be a new experience for us. I am also looking forward to going back to Parrot Cay... We really liked that one!

We want to eat at Palo's on Tuesday night (anniversary). So's heres my question. I see that the ship is at Castaway Cay that day until 5pm. If we were to stay there right up until deadline, what time should I make for ressies at Palo? Would 6 or 6:30 be a resonable enough time to get back and clean up?

Paul

ps: got my digital....boy is this gonna be fun!!!!

Having never been on a cruise...I think I'm going to try to book Palo's for the last evening...so we get to try all the other restaurants....

My kids are going to be thrilled we all the restuarants...as they still don't know we are going....it's getting more exciting forZurg and I the closer we get.....:D :D :D

I'm going to book some spa stuff also....anybody else have any favorites I must try.?????

I just need to get through this weekend before I really get into getting ready mode (I'm going to visit my dad an stepmom...she is very sick with cancer...)...

I will have to catch up with all the posts, I booked a few days ago, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I think my DCL addiction is getting pretty bad, since I can't even go 6 months between cruises. Looking forward to seeing you all around the ship!!!

3 weeks and counting!

Yippee!

hey we must have been posting at the same time...:D :D :D

If you are planning to stay on Castaway until the very last min. I would go for the 6:30 ressie.

I usually head back to the ship around 3 or 4 on castaway day.. I like to get off the ship early, and enjoy the beach when it isn't as crowded.

Then I head back before the big rush back, and enjoy a quiet pool for an hour or so.

Can't believe in less then a month I will be there again (cross your fingers and toes and everything else you can cross)

I read a bunch of posts for the snorkling at CC... I have done it on both my past trips, and you don't have to rent your equipment until you board the ship...

I did the snorkel trails next to the family beach, and I saw some sea life, but it was like sea life hog heaven at the adult only beach. I saw this MASSIVE black sting ray.. it had to be like 4 feet. I saw several other sting rays, lots of fish, crabs in big conk shells. It was awesome, and the water isn't crowded, and it's so peaceful, really like you are snorkling on some deserted island. Then I got a float, and spent the next two hours floating around the adult beach, reading a book.. oh it was heaven.

Here's a quesiton about the adult only beach..... our daughter is 17 1/2. Will they let her come with us to the beach?

Paul

Diz... technically, I think you have to be 18 or up to go to the adult only beach... but I have never see them check ID's, know what I mean? But she might like the teen beach better anyway. People her own age, and they do activities out there, and have this cool deck in the water.

Got my tickets from Disney today. Kind of made it more real for me. Woo hoo! :)

Sam

Hi guys!
I remember reading the answer to this before but....does anybody know which night is formal night on the 4-day? Or is there a formal night? I know the Wonder is supposed to be more casual than the Magic? I think I've read too much to remember it all!
Paul, we have a new digital too. I'm having a lot of fun with it, I'm all about instant gratification with pictures. Have you checked out snapfish.com or ofoto.com? I'm a beginner at the digital thing and these sites are pretty easy to use. The prints are less at snapfish.
Zurgswife, sorry to hear about your Stepmom, your family is in our thoughts & prayers.

Lynn

Lynn,
There's not really a formal night on the 4 day - just more formal wear at Triton's from what I understand. Makes for easier packing.
I use Photoworks.com for my digital pics and like it alot. I can upload pics and get them printed and back to me in a few days for the most part. Plus they archive them. Prints are .19 apiece - how does that compare to the others? I love my digital - it's so much fun!
We're getting closer........
Georgianne

Georgianne,
Great, that's what I told my sister but than sarted to doubt myself. We've asked for the rotation that will have us in Triton's the night of the wedding so we shouldn't need another more formal outfit.
Thanks for the info on photoworks.com, the prints are $.25 at snapfish. I will check out photoworks more today!

I'm so ready to go.....
Lynn

OK I'm confused...is there a formal night or not????Or are you saying that most people dress up to go to Tritons???
