Like I said before I am writing this report as I go along....this weekend was extremely busy for me. We hung out with Ann (maziezoe) and her family yesterday and went to a Coldplay concert last night, and then spent all of today again with Ann and her family. Hopefully I will be adding another chapter either tomorrow night or by the latest on Tuesday night!![]()
Thank you!I'm still not done with the Dells - it's a slow work in progress as part of the PTR.
Henry just loved that red car, and he loves his lady friend too! The Mom of the crew there actually watches Henry while I'm at work, and everyday we drive up to their house and Henry shouts the little girl's name.
I am originally from a suburb of Chicago (Bolingbrook), but have lived in Minnesota pretty much since 4th grade, with a 1.5 year stint in NYC. Right now, we are in Central Minnesota
I can't wait to meet you either!! The more I read about the cruise, the more excited I am! I will try to hang around on the Podcast boards some too and attempt to get to know ya'll a bit better!
Oh, and about your update - LOVE the Imagination Movers on the big screen! LOL "Imagination Movers, ya gotta think about it...."
Hi! I am an immigrant from Jamie's trip report. Loving yours too!
In fact, you have both influenced me to sign up for Podcast 2.0!! It looks like such a blast!
Can't wait to meet you in December 2010!
I am sooo happy that Jaime posted the link to my TR! I got so many readers thanks to that! Oh I love that you all are reliving my adventures it is fun for me to relive them too!!I guess I have to come out of lurkdome sometime, so why not now!
Actually I came right over to read your trip report once Jamie posted the link and I am LOVING every single line of it!!!! Thank you so much for letting all of us relive your adventures.
We will go on our very first Disney cruise in just 4 weeks, so reading all there is to do and see is a HUGE help!
Can't wait for the next installment!
Greetings from Austria!
Karin
Soooooo many things to say....
Cruise Director Christiaan... how cute was he?
Mushroom Risotto... YUM!
Desserts at Palo... I will say it again... I would marry that little chocolate thing and divorce it just to marry it again. Sooooo good.
Sheesh... the kids decided to talk to me and I forgot what else I was going to say.
We had such a good time with you this weekend!! Always an adventure! Only 12 more days and we can have another adventure!![]()
I love the before and after pics, especially your fun meter button
Between yours and Jaime's TRs, the martini tasting was really well covered
I like how both of you overlooked my wife and Todd becoming a little too friendly... but I overlooked that too![]()
Those martinis look so yummy!! And loved the before/after pics of you and Jason. I am basically shy when not sober but very talkative and ready to jump up and raise my hand to volunteer for just about anything when I've had a couple of drinks.
Wine Tasting
4:00 pm (I think it was 4)
Jason and I head back to Diversions and we grab the booth that we got out of a little bit ago. Soon others come and grab the booth with us.....a nice older couple from St. Louis, gosh I wish I remembered their names, she was super nice and fun! She put up with me...but I was trying to be as good as I possibly could be. Judy and Kim (chiurugeon) were also at our booth. It was fun pretending to be all sophisticated at the wine tasting and swirling the glass and looking for sediments, while I was beyond tipsy. A lot of the older crowd came to the wine tasting and they really were trying to learn something, but the booth with Kevin (yes that Kevin) was sitting behind me and they were kind of loud, so some of the crowd kept shhhhing them....I was happy to know that I kept my quiet and I did very well. Jason was proud of me! We also got a really cool pin, that said Wine Tasting from stem to stern for taking part in this tasting.

( I don't know if that is a look of "wow that drink is strong", or a look of "come on why can't you finish it!")

It was the latter.
Well at least I wasn't the only one to have about the same recollections....I sat with Jeff and Val (OKWLover & OKWLover2) and Kim (TickledTink33) and some other folks....but my memory is hazy as well. This was less fun than the martini tasting in my opinion. And all of the speakers seemed to be whispering. I did find out that I am not a big fan of wine though. I felt rather embarrassed after talking with Kevin after the tasting. At least looking back at the pictures, I feel embarrassed.
It was Kevin's fault. We were very quiet until he showed up.

It was fun when Kevin joined your table, I really didn't care much about the educational part of the presentation anyways. I don't think it was that loud, but some are more sensitive than others.
I was proud that Shanan wasn't the giggly drunk during the presentation that I thought she'd be
Durn it, I forgot to quote Jen (DVCSince02) when replying... that's what I get for rarely posting anymore![]()
I laughed out loud when I read about you shouting out "WHEN IS MY BIRTHDAY?"Oh that is so funny! I would have busted up laughing in person if I had been there and probably gotten the disapproving look as well.

I think it would have been better if they would have done the wine tasting first. There was more to learn with that and once you all were drunkno one wanted to learn. On my notes for next time.
Hi Jaime! I hope that chapter brought a smile to your face! That sure was a GREAT night! It is funny what other people rememberI love how people remember things differently - or remember things other people don't. I forgot about the 2 men skipping. Yes, Jason already had the hole in his sock. My lipstick was like a lip gloss and I swabbed his face with it. And I forgot he ripped his shirt!
