2nt. off site help please!

I am having such a hard time trying to find a convenient place to stay off site for just 2 nites.

We arrive early on a Friday, but do not check into the Contemporary until Sunday. We would really like to do Seaworld on Saturday, and maybe get DTD out of the way on Friday, but I am having a horrible time trying to decide on a convenient place. I do not think that I want to depend on two-way shuttle service, so would consider taking a taxi from the park, but do not know how much that would cost. I have seen reviews that state it could be $50.00!

DTD hotels would be great, but are a bit pricey. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Anyone ever stay at the Blue Tree Resort, or the Country Suites? They both seem to have great rates for suite size rooms.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are planning to go to Downtown Disney and are flying in, I would just stay in a value resort on a room-only reservation. You can use Magical Express and it will make moving to the Contemporary easy.

To get to Sea World you can take the city bus from Downtown Disney or from the TTC. Read about that here: http://www.mousesavers.com/seaworldorlando.html#trans

It's only a 20 minute ride from Downtown Disney.
