2nd Week of September Crew Check-in Here!

Now that our time is almost here. Has anyone found out if the same rules apply to liquids in carrry ons? Does anyone know if you can check 2 bags without an extra charge?

I'm flying Air Tran, and was going to wait untill next week to call in case they change something else.

I believe it is still in effect, but slightly adjusted. For example, you can take up to 4 oz of over the counter necessary meds. I will be taking advantage if this to bring DD3 decongestant for the plane ride, so her ears don't pop.

Count us in for this week! 9/9-9/16. Just upgraded from ASMo to WL!! Soooo very excited!!

Our plans:
Saturday: check in to WL, dinner at Coral Reed
Sunday: MK, dinner at 1900 Park Fair
Monday: AK, dinner at Boma...first time for this. Really looking forward to it!
Tuesday: MGM, late breakfast with JoJo and Goliath
Wednesday: Probably MK, breakfast at O'Hana
Thursday: Epcot, Lunch at Le Cellier, Dinner at Marrakesh
Friday: MK, probably, no reservations, and MNSSHP!

Hoping for low crowds, but from the looks of these boards...not so sure. Of course, maybe we are the only enlightened ones that realize what a fantastic week this is to go to the World!

ReneeLMT....we'll see you at 1900 Park Fair, I think our ADR's are for 6:20 as well!!

I know that Southwest allows 2 pieces of luggage/person. I imagine Air Tran would be the same, but it couldn't hurt to check out the details on their site.

Does anyone know if my dd can bring Pal Mickey in her carry-on?? I'm thinking that the batteries might trigger a security search, but we'd like to use it right away and dd wants it on the plane to ride with her. :confused3 (That, plus I don't like putting a $70 toy in checked luggage).

See you Saturday at Coral Reef! I'll be there sometime after 6pm

Cool Glendamax!! I can't remember what time we are going! It has been a blond morning, as is evident by the fact that I told ReneeLMT that we would be at 1900 Park Fair the same time she is, however...same time, different days! My brain has turned to Disney Mush!!

9/15 - 9/20 for me Staying at CSR

9/15 - DTD & MNSSHP
9/16 - MK
9/17 - MK
9/18 - AK
9/19 - EPCOT
9/20 - DTD(if there is time) & Headed Home

Blast that Disney Magic - it got to me again! pixiedust: I've been bamboozled into deciding to head over to the World Fri. afternoon (9/8) instead of Sat. morning so as to get a little extra time in and an earlier start Sat.

So, now where should I stay?? :confused3 Sell me on your hotel choice! Rooms are starting to run low, so you've only got a couple hours to convince me. Here are the choices available as of now:

POFQ std
POR std
POP preferred
ASSp std
CBR std

(Technically, ASMu is also available, but I swore I'd never return there after my last horrendous experience and I can't go back on that!)

It's the 14th - 19th for us! I'll try to find something lime to tie onto myself. ;) Don't know what parks we're doing on which days yet.

I'll be at POR in Dec., so I decided to do something different this time. And my past ASMu experience was so bad, I just couldn't seriously consider ASSp. And the discount at POP was only for preferred - only marginally less than std. at POFQ.

All of this to say... POFQ it is for one extra night in the World! Given that, here is my new and improved schedule of events:

9/8 check in POFQ, play in pool
Dinner at POFQ food court

9/9 Bfast at POFQ food court
check in CR
EP for park opening
Lunch at Sunshine Seasons
afternoon at pool/ explore monorail resorts
Dinner at CR food court OR head to EP for the evening if DS's up to it

We'll be there from 9/9-9/18! I'll have to pull out my itinerary...don't have it memorized. I do know however, that it's more flexible this time around. I do know this:

Saturday, 9/9- arrive at ASMo at ~ 4 pm, check in, explore a little, head to DTD, grab a bite to eat (I'm thinking Wolfgang Puck Express, probably, I don't have any ADR's for that night, so we're winging it). Then on to La Nouba for 9 pm show! Even though we've seen it before, I couldn't pass up the discounted tickets! The show is amazing and definitely worth seeing again. My DD, 6, saw it 2 years ago, so it will be brand-new for her, and my DS (he'll turn 4 in WDW on the 17th, yay!) hasn't seen it, so I'm excited about taking them.

I'll update later...
