I can sleep, BUT, I keep going over and over in my mind what is where in each park, and what order I'm going to do things. I REALLY need to stop obsessing!

Ya'll are so funny! I have to admit that I have not been as excited about our upcoming trip since we just went in January. But now that we are only 17 days away I find myself all giddy and super excited!!!

Oh and just in case anyone is interested, contact paper works for laminating things as well.

I went shopping for my trip stuff yesterday and I cant find cheap ponchos or fans anywhere! I live in TX...where the heck are all the fans! It has been over 100 here for about 3 weeks straight now. I need those fans!! I have checked my walmarts and my dollar stores. Any other ieas? I leave in 10 days! I cant wait to start my packing

I actually got a small mister fan from Sharper Image. The one at Walmart is nice, but way too big. The SI mister fan is much smaller and can clip on your belt loop.

Not sure if you have a SI near you, but here is the link. Maybe they can send you one ASAP. I love mine. Heard about it from another Dis'er!

I see the SI has the larger fan, but it is at a really good price. Perhaps this is what you would like.

We get on the road for the long drive from Chicagoland to the World in only two weeks!!!!

Hi! We are leaving from Chicago driving also! We are leaving Thursday late! Hope to get in Friday early evening! Where from Chicago are you coming from? We are in the western burbs!

I just started getting excited! I was looking at poncho's yesterday at target-the kids ones were .99.

My DD4 keeps asking if we are leaving TODAY! She has a suitcase (princess one) that she wheels around and puts things in there for her to take. So far she will be naked but have LOTS of toys and books.

We leave on the 17th, and I have already started packing and getting our stuff together. First time at the CR Atrium Club...can't wait!

I just finished my ADR's. Am I the only one that does back up ADR's?

For our second night we plan on doing CS in the MK then catching Spectro and Wishes, but for a back up plan I have an ADR at Blue Zoo just in case we are too tired or the weather is bad.

When we go in Sept we don't plan out our days since the crowds are so low. Last year we did 3 parks (MK, MGM & EPCOT) in 1 day. We started around 10:30 and were done by 4:30. We were tired but it was fun. Most everything is walk on

We had better get packing, it's all in tubs in the basement with the suitcases lined up in a row.....gotta make those mickey head tags, were from downstate IL.....but were flying out of Bloomington.

10th - MK just to see Hall of Presidents before it closes and then off to EP, Akerhaus 5 pm

11th - DS, 5:30 Whispering Canyon

12th - MK, 5:30 Crystal Palace

13th - AK/MK
5:40 Boma

14th - AK?/EP
5 pm - Garden Grill

15th - EP/DS?
5:30 O'hana

16th - MK

We will be at Boms'a in the 13th too, except our ressie is at 6:20. 13 days for me!!!!

We are in Bolingbrook. My DD3 and DD5 don't really get the concept of how long/short "two weeks" is!!! DS7 and DS9 understand and can't wait either!!!

We are leaving Friday (9/8) am and getting to WDW Sat afternoon (9/9.)

Go to the Dollar Tree. They have ponchos 2/$1! At that price I bought alot, so we can just throw them away and not try to refold them!!

To help kids get a grasp of days......

I printed out a calendar and hung it up. Every night afer her bath DD3 gets to put a sticker on the day to help count off the days til we leave. I hi-lited the day we leave so she knows when she runs out of blank spots to put stickers we will be leaving!!

Dd made a paper chain and is taking a link off of it every day. I love seeing that chain get shorter and shorter! The Mickey head idea sounds festive--we'll have to try that sometime.

Dd's b-day is this week, and we're eating at the local RainForest Cafe to celebrate. We can pretend we're in Animal Kingdom.

Ds has his new crocs all broken in & ready to GO!

We are staying at POFQ Sept. 11-16th!! There will be 8 of us, me, my DH, my parents, my 3 sisters, and my 3 year old niece!

Our days go something like this:

Mon., Sept. 11- arrival day, dinner at LeCellier @6:40pm
Tues., Sept. 12- MK day, dinner at 1900 Park Fare @6:20pm
Wed., Sept. 13- Dis Studios day, dinner at 50's Prime Time @5:40pm
Thurs., Sept. 14- MK day, dinner at Crystal Palace @5:40pm
Fri., Sept. 15- AK day, dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe @7:15pm (or use TS credits for CS meal since this is a PM EMH night at AK)
Sat., Sept. 16- departure day, leave for airport around 12:00 noon

I will get some lime green mickeys and attach them to us! If you see us, please say hello!

Cant wait! Two more weeks! See you soon!
