2nd week of January, busy?

We will be arriving in Anaheim on the 7th of January until the 14th of January, we are a family group of 14, all adults. Can anyone give me an idea of how crowded the parks will be and what sort of hours for the parks. Thank you for your help, just trying to organise our days.

Rise of the Rebellion is due to open on Jan 17th so you’ll be missing the crowds that may be there that weekend.

Other than that, you’re looking at a the time where Haunted Mansion and IASW are down to remove the holiday overlays. All this should equal low crowds.

I’m not sure on typical operating hours for the park during this time, but off season hours have had DL close at early as 8 or 9pm in the past.

OP: be aware that during non-peak season, the hours can be shorter, staffing can be lower, rides may not be running at full capacity (which can mean longer lines, even though crowds may be down), and nighttime entertainment tends to run on weekends only (so fireworks and F! on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays/WOC should run once a night). Water rides tend to go down for refurb during this time, too. IJA and Snow White have announced refurbs, but given no dates.
