Well, I have now experienced one of those joys of DVC ownership - being able to treat my friend and myself to an on-site WDW stay during a business seminar trip to Orlando.
This is just my second trip on points (DH and I stayed in our home resort of VWL last Nov, and also used points to stay at AKL). I needed the 2 queen beds and the least points, so an OKW studio it was.
Room was great (but I still like VWL a little better - we had a 1st floor woods view that was soooo peaceul - OKW was quiet, but not peaceful, if that makes sense - probably needed some woods noises) (room 3517) except for one incident of repeated slamming doors upstairs. (About 10 slams or more, for heaven's sake.)
Parking near the room was very nice, but DARNED if I didn't have a horrible time finding OKW over and over. They have a billion signs for every other resort, but only one for OKW, I swear. Last June when I was down here by myself and stayed off-site, I found everything without a map. This time I practically had the map memorized and still got lost on a regular basis. *sigh*

for those interested in how much we could cram into 3 short days.
Next up is HH this September before our first DCL cruise...
