Hi,
My 2 teenage daughters and I are going to Universal the 3rd week in Aug. I have booked us at the PBR ( We stayed there for 1st time visit in 08 ). But I am thinking maybe a change of pace? HRH? it it cool there? My kids are in High school, I am confused!!! We have a Bay view room at PBR , If I keep ressie is there a room I should opt for? Also if you can help, I see the parks close early starting that week. Are there less people? Will we still be able to see the 360 show? What can I expect????? I know Im lost! But any and all help and suggestions are welcomed.

The HRH is fun. My teens really liked it and if it still had the Loews benefits we would stay there more often. You can ask for a water view and it is quite nice. There are less people the third week in August since the Orlando kids are back in school then. I don't think the 360 show is still on then. It wasn't when we were there last year at that time.

Thanks!
Question... you state that Hard rock does not have Loews Benefits? So maybe I am better off at PBR?
Bummer On the 360 show in 08 we caught most of it. I was really hopeing to stake out a good spot to catch it this time.
That week in Aug do you think the crowds will be better or is Harry Potter going to still have a impact.

Thanks!

I sure hope they are lower, we'll be going the last week in August. Staying on site gets you the one hour of early entry, and that really helps.

Lots of people don't really care about the Loews benefits. I figure that once you are blue at least you get free internet. Your girls will probably get a kick out of Hard Rock though. It is a fun place.

Thanks for the input I will check the HRH rates tonight. My girls are stoked that we get FOTL privileges. That seems more important to them than where we stay!!! Oh hey any input on Best Western Gateway, I booked that for our Wed night in town before we stay at Universal Thurs -Sun.
