Got up and went to PO-FQ for breakfast... just had to have that taste of real Disney atmosphere, and of course Beignets. They did not fail to satisfy!

We had an appointment at an apartment complex in Clermont, but when we arrived, we found that it was a rent control property and that we were overqualified (gee, that was nice to hear!!!) The lady there told us about a new apartment complex further up rt 27 that was having specials on renting, as they were new. We went up there, and absolutely fell in love with the place. Huge apartments with 3 bedrooms, baths and all of the amenities, including being a gated community. And , less than 1/4 mile from the elementary school, and only 30 minutes from where I hope to be working. We looked around, talked it over, and signed on the dotted line. Things were definitely looking up! Time to go to the parks!

Drove to Epcot, got there about 3:30 pm. Went in and headed straight for Test Track. All of the FP's were gone, and the standby line was over 60 minutes, so we decided to try the single riders line. We were on within 20 minutes, which I considered pretty good. After riding, we headed for the World Showcase. Stopped by the Mexican Pavillion and DH had a Dos Equis and I had the frozen original margarita, which was wonderful. We sat in the Cantina and watched the birds around the World Showcase Lagoon. We also saw the Character Caravan. After finishing our drinks, we headed around the showcase, stopping to look at the different entertainers. Special note to the actor/juggler in Italy... he was hilarious!

We had 6 pm PS at Cape May Cafe. This place never fails to please! We had a great waiter named Loren... the food was fantastic. Oh, and they have added Prime Rib to the buffet, for those you like that!

After dinner we went back to Epcot to watch Illuminations. We had some time before it started, so we shopped at Mousegears. Illuminations was fantastic, as usual. We stood next to these wonderful senior citizens (3 couples). They were enchanted by the whole thing. The smiles on their faces and the wonderful time they were having was absolutely contagious. Soon everyone around them was excited and having a blast!

After the end of a busy, but fun day, it was time to head back to the room.

Congratuations on finding your new home - and margaritas and Illuminations - sounds like a perfect day to me - thanks for posting!

Ditto ... A new home, drinks and Illuminations.
What could you ask for?
