2nd Day At AK or Epcot for twin 5 YOs?

Last minute, not hyper-planned trip coming up.....already have 2 days MK, 1 day AK, 1 day Epcot. Since no more Hollywood Studios reservations are available, what rates a second day with two 5 year olds?

A 2nd day at AK is always a good idea!

Depends on what they are into. Do they love animals? If so, AK. Or would they enjoy the Kidcot stations and exploring the shops in World Showcase? If so, Epcot.

My kids would have preferred Epcot at that age as they loved the Kidcot stations and it can take awhile to get through all of them. We also are not huge AK fans just because it always feels super crowded and hotter than the surface of the sun. But really it does depend on your kids and their interests.

Everyone is different, but at that age i would have done a 3rd MK day with my kids.

I would probably do AK or a 3rd day at MK. If you are interested in HS, keep trying to get a reservation. People’s plans change and you might get lucky.

For our family, a 3rd day at MK would be the answer as well.

However, if choosing between AK or Epcot, I would probably go with AK at that age.

And as others have said, keep checking for openings at DHS. You never know when that may open up, especially if they reallocate some of the AP reservations right before your trip.

Plenty to think about, and unfortunately while Covid took away Fastpass+ pre-planning, it does put park-picking as a pre-planned activity. And thanks kevgraub for some criteria on looking for HS cancels, as I was expecting that to be somewhat limited and only 1 day in advance as the 3-HS reservation people hit Star Wars on day 1. Thats my next homework assignment.
