2nd choice pool

From reading this board I think the majority of people would rank SAB at the top of their pool list. Which pool(s) would you rank as #2? We have never stayed at a Deluxe and we are taking 3 Dks 10, 7, 5...........we have reservation at YC but with the possibilites of more summer discounts I want to have a #2 choice.

From reading this board I think the majority of people would rank SAB at the top of their pool list.

SAB is indeed a unique pool, but when we were there in July, it was so very crowded that we really couldn't enjoy it.

I wish I could help with another pool opinion, but the only other pool we've been in so far was All Star Sports, and I'm afraid to say I enjoyed that pool a lot better, even though it was just a simple pool.

Anyone else have opinions?

If SAB is overly crowded that would be a definite drawback. I read about the Poly pool and it looked great, but then I read here that it gets really crowded in summer. Such a dilema......

My DS, 10, loves the pool at both the Poly and WL.

We stayed at the WL last Aug and the pool was very crowded also - we never got to find the quiet pool - either my son wanted to slide or we got rained out. It was one of the most disappointing aspects of our trip - I remember the AS Sport pool time as one of our highlites from our 2000 trip (of course then I was pregnant with dd not holding her on my hip!)

Other Great Options.......

Poly Volcano - Atmosphere/Great View and Surroundings
AKL - Very Nice - Very underated IMHO
WL - Scenic - Can't beat the view looking back at the Lodge!

IMO, the best pool on property, even counting SAB is Luna Park at the BW. It has the best slide, and the setting is GREAT!! Like you're at a carnival!! It's my kids favorite, and it's not as large as SAB, so it's not a problem watching the kids from slightly afar.

The pool at the boardwalk is very very good.
