I just checked the wait for Soarin is 2 hrs. yet if I look for a fast pass I can get on for 10:35 - 11;35 a.m today. WHY WAIT 2 hrs.

There may only be one available, and most people need more than one. Plus, the info you are looking at could be incorrect. Also, I have read that MDX is pretty unusable right now, probably because of the load. So, people may not even be able to access it to get the FP+. I wonder if the FP+ kiosk lines are bad too.

Not to mention the fact that unless someone came in with no FPs, they'd have to wait until they've used the three they have before they can book another one, so they wouldn't be able to book a 10:35 FP.

Unless it's changed since we went to Disney World last year, isn't epcot Tiered? Meaning you can cannot get a FP for two attractions in Tier 1? Test Track is another very popular one so some might have selected FP for TT instead.

Posted wait times are inflated so when you wait for a shorter period, you can feel the Disney magic. 2 hours does seem like a long time though. maybe they gave CM's the day off?

Mid-afternoon this past Sunday, Soarin' had a 190 minute wait.

Surely the Thanksgiving-week crowds at play here. Resort parking lot went from sparse to packed literally overnight Saturday.

I was there today...at 8:50 they released us from Innovations right in front of Starbucks. I went straight to Soarin and did not get off until 9:50. I can assure you, the wait times this week are NOT inflated to keep people away. My experience this week has been wait times are actually longer than posted most of the time. When I entered the line at Soarin the posted wait was 30 minutes...It was more like 45-50. I waited for 15-20 minutes at Test Track WITH a fastpass. Posted wait for green side Mission Space was 5 minutes...it took 15 with a fastpass. I have found that most of the attractions are warm inside and the wait times are underestimated. That's my experience this week, I wonder if others have seen the same.

I was in MK that day and the crowds were very light comparatively. Have to choose your parks wisely during busy periods.

They had problems posting wait times Wednesday evening at MK - they said 15 min and cast members said they were actually 45-60 (small world and Buzz that I saw personally). Some kind of system glitch. But today in AK they often posted much longer times than we experienced when in line - ex Kali said 30 min and was walk on. We saw some pretty lengthy fast pass lines in MK Wednesday - They extended far outside the scanners and then there was a wait to ride too. It seemed to bottleneck with people scanning. I didn't witness anyone outside their window trying to get in. Actually we were scanned a few minutes early nearly every ride. I was surprised we didn't get stopped. Yesterday at MK we were able to wak right up to parade route and get spots right behind sitting children 10 min pre praise - though in both cases it was the end of the parade route so it was about 30 min pre parade. We also walked up to Lion King show today 15 min pre show and had no problems getting in. I am enjoying this bit of spontaneity - in all previous trips we waited an hour or more for parade spots then had to fight to defend our territory. This is a new and enjoyable experience to practically walk up to parades and shows.

Just heard from a girlfriend that was there this morning and she wait 1 hr and 55 minutes for Soarin. She was bummed when I told the about my ability to get a fastpass that stared within 5 minutes of me getting it.
