I just bought a 29" Liz Claiborne Pullman and also a Samsonite 25" Pullman. I like both but will take one back. i LOVE the 29" Liz Claiborne one but the measurements add up to exactly 62"..so I couldn't expand it (which is fine). However, Southwest's baggage policy is nothing bigger than 62". Will i get by with the Liz Claiborne one or should I go with a 25"? We're flying this trip, but normally drive.

It's going to be hard keeping the 29" Pullman under 50 lbs. I'd return that bag. You'll be OK with the size but if you fully pack that bag it can wind up weighing up to 70 lbs.

Lewis is right.

I often see folks with the 'mega' suitcase being charged for overweight luggage.

Thank you! I was afraid of that. I guess I'll stick with the 25" one. Thanks again!
