Are you kidding me? Waterford Crystal reg $4000, lightning deal of $2800 on Amazon! And what's even better--10 minutes into it & there's a waitlist! :rotfl2: Somehow I don't think any of those people are hanging out on our Budget Board! Oh the things I could do with $2800....definitely not buy crystal! :lmao:

When I look at the lightening deals I have a Grateful Dead album:confused3
Is there another place to look? What kind of waterford? A set of stemware? A bowl? I don't know why I ask, as I would never consider that purchase.

It was a champagne bucket & ended up showing "sold out" within 20 minutes. I think they take it off the pages once the item isn't available anymore.

I saw that and thought -- what the....? At first I thought it was a typo, but I guess not.

Oh! I guess that is for someone with champagne tastes and a budget to match. I am going to have to google this so I can see what a $4000 Chrystal champagne bucket looks like. Did it at least come with a couple of glasses?

Sorry guys, I bought the first 42 for gifts.....I may have bought them out. It was just too good of a deal to pass up!
:snooty:

:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I just figured out that if you go into the black Friday deals & do the dropdown to show "sold out" it will pop up.

Darn it--now that I did that I see that I missed the $1300 champane waterfall to go with it! :rotfl2:

Are there different lightning deals offered in different areas? I'm confused because I keep reading posts about certain lightning deals that aren't being offered here. Here's what's come up so far today in order:

noise-isolating headphones
100 pack of DVD's
panel power conditioner
KitchenAid 600 mixer
The Complete Far Side collection
Greatful Dead cd/dvd collection
The Doors Live in New York

The ones coming up are:
something that has to do with Led Zeppelin
a compilation of the best music of Britain's 60's.

That's it for today.

There was no Kindle and no Waterford Crystal. I'm confused. :confused3

I like the waterford 12 days of christmas glasses. But they are expensive. We were in macys looking around and they had a full red set of them and I sad take a guess he said 500 and I said 800. The lady said 1400. My husband said it best there will be people who can buy that stuff.

On the Gold Box page scroll down about 1/2 way down the page to where it says "Amazing deals for everyone on your list" and then click "see the deals" it will take you to the page with all the lightning deals.

I didn't know Donald Trump shopped on Amazon. How cool is that?

(Thinking he is one of the few who could drop a couple grand on a bucket to hold champagne!)

I would LOVE to be able to purchase something like that. And YES, they may hang out here. Warren Buffett BUDGETS, so do Bill Gates. They just have more disposable income than I -- and their social standards are much higher.

My guests drink from Macy's generic stemware ... at my sister's, we drink from disposables. I love her no less and she loves me no more, based on our glasses.

That said, I'd certainly host more parties with 4000.00 crystal :lmao: And, I'm sure I'd have some more income to dispose of, and instead of cooking, I'd hire caterers. :cool1:

My guests drink from Christofle.

Now before you are all impressed. For years I always had a part-time job in addition to a full time job, and for a couple of years I worked at Bloomingdale's. Due to a sale, a coupon, and my employee discount I was able to purchase a discontinued pattern of glassware for less than $3 a glass. I figured the fancy boxes they came in were worth more than that, and brought them home.

I have 12 of each, if one is ever broken; it will not be replaced. Purchasing one glass in the pattern would cost me more than I paid for the whole set.

A couple of times when money has been tight, I have thought about selling them--but even replacing them with cheap nice glass would be nearly the same price.

Did you go to amazon.com and click on black friday deals? Today I've bought a pink DS Lite (they also had a blue one) and some Wii accessories. And a wireless mouse.

Right before the best of the 60s thing was some kind of bike trainer. I don't know why you aren't seeing those?:confused3

Thanks! Now I see them. :thumbsup2 Some of the deals are good while some don't seem all that great. For example, the butterfly pavilion was $13.50, but DH and I were able to buy these a year ago for $5 each on Amazon.
