We have 28 days to go and I've been counting down since we returned from our last trip on 1st September.

But as the trip becomes closer I start to panic that is all over even thought we haven't even left the house yet.

This time we're going for 21 nights so when the ticker gets down to 21 nights as each day passes I think oh no that's another day that's gone really quickly and its going to go quickly while we're away too!

I remember reading once something along the lines of don't be sad that's it's over be happy that it happened and while that's logical I clearly am not!!

It it only me?? Xx

I feel exactly the same. It'll probably be a few years until our next trip, so I'm really sad it'll soon be gone :(

Yep same here too. It's like a black hole, so I fill it by collecting flight price info, looking at different hotels and trying to find a way to go back sooner. It will probably be 2017 before we return but I'm trying real hard to squeeze in a Halloween week without compromising the proper, full on holiday!
Damn those flight prices;-)

Ya I totally understand. It is like I am an addict or something. I almost like the planning more than the trip. Don't get me wrong, I have a great time when I'm there but when i get back I become anxious and start looking around for pricing for my next trip. It is like a fix. Weird!

our friends so don't get it...
we used to go for at least 3 weeks every time..
and even for 4 weeks...
and they'd say to us, "seriously? what do you do all that time that you're there?"
and we'd say, "it's not long enough"..
and then they'd be just speechless....how could 4 weeks not be long enough???

but it's not....and then at the end of the 4 weeks we'd cry....really...cry...
and that was when we were pretty sure we'd be back the next year (not true anymore)...

well, this hasn't been a helpful post has it...
i guess i'm just saying that you're not alone...

Another addict here, going at the end of October, third trip in under a year, but, yesterday I booked to go next May as I loved it so much when I went this year. If it wasn't for my cats I would go for three or four weeks at a time as I am always on the go, never lonely, having the most wonderful time and I want it to last as long as possible. If I can persuade DD to look after them instead of putting them in the cattery, I feel so guilty when I leave despite it being a fab place then I would go for longer.
There is nothing wrong with being happy, which is guaranteed at WDW and there are a lot worse addictions.

You need to find a way to go sooner. I HAVE to be planning a trip or I won't go to work in the mornings!!

I will fly the wrong way if it makes sure I get there!

This trip we have to drive from Liverpool to Gatwick then fly to Oslo and then to Orlando. We couldn't afford the flights any other way!!!

I have one Disney loving friend who I think get its but not quite as much as me!!

I'd like to go for 6 weeks or 6 months or forever ideally!!

I get so sad and also cry real tears when we come home!

I'm not from the UK, but I just had the same thought.

Our trip is in 10 days and we will be staying there for 10 nights.

I just had the realization that, just as I think will be here really soon (only 10 days away), it will also be over really quickly.

I do the same as well.

I spend the whole time wishing the time away but once you're there you're on a Disney time clock and that goes a lot slower!:goodvibes

I felt the same as we approached our trip last year, especially as I did t think we'd go back for a while....and yet here I am counting down after booking for October 2015!!

Have a fab trip and enjoy every single second :-)

That is my exact worry and I do worry about it a lot!!

Also as soon as I reach the mid way point in my holiday my holidays almost over blues start :0(

We have 67 days and I keep getting waves of dread about how I'll feel when we get back. When we got home in 2011 I cried my eyes out because I wasn't there anymore , now I know my next chance won't be until 2021 I have no idea how I will cope. My friends will probably find me rocking in the corner humming IASW!
