That what I found in my teenagers room today! Do you think he was going for the record? :confused3

Do you have a pic? It might deter any future girlfriends that you don't care for if they know the real him :)

I can beat that though... my aunt found an entire Pizza in her son's closet after he had moved off to college.

:rotfl: Aw, c'mon, ya know they were being used for that biology experiment - growing some cultures.... don't cut the experiment short - there are 30 days in September, 31 in October - I'm sure a month's worth of glasses is required for that project. :rotfl:

Shucks I didnt even think of taking a picture. I just made him clean up. He laughed and said "gee mom you actually counted them...I was wondering but I was too lazy to count them" Duh

I keep buying them.....I'm sure if theyre all clean they wont fit in the cabinet!

I'm not sure if this beats this or not but....

Back when my mom still smoked, she complained one day that her purse was really heavy and she wanted to clean it out before we went out shopping. She found 17 lighters in the bottom of her purse!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

could the 16 bathtowels I am missing be there too? I am also missing drinking glasses and spoons. Maybe we need to start a parents of teens lost and found.

ok unless at least one was half full, and been in there for over a year...

when we returned from wdw in july 03 dd was crazy about her AK refillable drinking bottles,( big huge glass with screw on lid and straw) we noticed that it wasnt in the cabinet, asked her where it was,, and she was like ok, i think its in my room, a year later we cleaned her room out to remodel it,,, the AK glass was underneath the bed, abouty half full of who knows what, and almost green,

There are shows that use drinking glasses as musical instruments. With all the new "reality" shows, maybe he's trying to discover a new talent and surprise you. :teeth:

I know my 14 year old's room is a virtual nightmare. All kinds of things go in there and never come back out. We have all kinds of stuff disappearing in that boy's room. I get so happy, I stand up and sing when my son comes out of his room. So I know it's possible that stuff can eventually find it's way out of there too.

Maybe you could lock up the glasses and try paper cups for awhile. :confused3

I have three teens. When I get desperately low on any of the following:
bowls, spoons, knives, glasses, towels, my socks with the pink stripes on them (my boys will wear anything if it's clean)
I know who needs to clean their rooms.
Occasionally they will sort of clean their room and swear these things aren't in their room. So off i go to walmart to buy super cheap silverware, glasses and bowls. Then suddenly everything comes out of their room and I can't fit the stuff anywhere. I truly no longer buy anything better then the 6 for a buck silverware and bowls, mega boxes of glasses and 1.99 towels. It will surely disapear no matter what promises my kids make.

he should move in with a friend of ours-guy has the theory that as long as there are still clean dishes why bother washing the dirty ones (which end up all over the house). when his mom died he inherited a couple of complete dishwear sets (multiple plates, bowls, cups, saucers...the whole shebang-with the veggie bowls, serving platters, gravy boats, creamer/sugar bowls...). i told him he was 'pathetic' one day when i found him eating cereal out of the teapot and drinking coffee out of the gravy boat

my brother was a great one for 'losing' coffee cups around the house-when we went to clean up/sell the house he and my mom lived in we must have found 40 or 50 of them laying around (how do you not notice you have 10 half filled coffee cups on the floor of your bedroom?).

Wow, you have a lot of glasses. It must have took a whole load in the dishwasher to clean all those. LOL
My DS just came back from college this weekend to get his laundry done, when he left yesterday afternoon he took every bath towel and pillowcase we have in the closet back to school with him. When DH went to take a shower this morning he had to get one out of the dirty laundry...he said to me, geez, can't you keep up with the laundry LOL
I guess, DS likes a clean towel and pillowcase everynigh, I wonder who he takes after! ME
