I believe you can take the bus to the Wide World of Sports from your resort. We have gone to a spring training game there every year for quite a few years (but we are Yankee fans :thumbsup2) and we used to be able to get the bus at DHS but that changed last year. We stay at Boardwalk so it was real easy for us to walk to DHS and catch the bus. Not so easy anymore. This year we rented a car so we just drove to the the stadium and parking is free. The game started at 1:05 and we got there at 10:30 and couldn't believe how many people were there already. We had to park in the last section of the main parking lot which was fine and made it easier to get out. We always just get lunch there and eat in our seats. I was pretty certain I used to get chicken fingers because I'm not a big hot dog fan but this year I couldn't find them at any of the concession stands. But we did find a stand that had all kinds of hot dogs and my DH and I both got the hot dogs in the pretzel bread roll. That was different and tasted pretty good. It comes with cheese but I don't like cheese so I asked if I could have it without and I could but they had to put mustard on because it is actually inside the roll and it needs something to help it slide in. They also had corn dogs. BTW the Yankees won 5-4 :yay:.

I went to a Braves game last year. Since you're staying at All-Star Sports it should be pretty easy, a bus will come straight to your resort and drop you off at the park. In general, these buses run only every 30 minutes so be prepared for a longer wait.

If the forecast calls for rain, trust me and bring the number for a cab company. Rain outs mean the entire park leaves at the same time, not just the ball game crowd. You can't bring umbrellas in either though ponchos are okay.

That's the concession menu for the upper level section from last year. Prices may have changed but I believe the menu should still be fairly accurate as it was after the rebranding when I took the photo. Be aware that nachos and cheese mean a bag of tostitos and warm cheese. Not bad just not typical.
