When we started this trip with no plan what so ever. We had been planning so much in the last year because of special events we just wanted to decide things on the spur of the moment.

Mon 8/18 We decide to do AK. We drove the car and go there soon after EE opened. We heade straight for the Safari and FP it and went on a nice stroll through the Pangini Trail. It was pretty quiet so we get to get close to the animals. We spotted several gorillas and had a great time picking out birds.

The safari was wonderful. The animals were out and some were very close to the truck.

The boys and I did KRR while dh sat out. He didn't want to do anything that spun after MS. I got a little wet but my ds18 got soaked. At least it was a warm day. My dh walked the Asian Trail while we were on the ride.

On to Dinosauer. This is a pretty intense ride and the first time I rode it I said never again but I still keep coming back. We were going to lunch at the McDonald's but it was not quite 11:30 and by the time we came backit was jammed so we went to the Tusker House. The food here was great.

Then on to ITTBAB. I love the 3d but hate the stuff around your legs so I always sit with my feet up on the back of the chair in front of me. I do love this moivie.

We tried conservation station adn I didn't find it that impressive maybe because my kids are older and the petting zoo was past them. I did like the vet area and we also got to see where they are already building Everest(I got this from the train conductor).

We decided to go back to camp and relax. We hit the pool and my husband hit the Trading Post for a paper and a soda. At 4:30 I called for a PS to 50's Prime Time Cafe and got one for 7 that night.

We drove to MGM and you could see the clouds rolling in and as we got to the GMR the skies opened up. Something happened to the ride and some of the electronics were not working. The gangster had to ad klib an awful lot so it took some of the fun out of it. We doned our ponchos and headed for The Disney exhibit. I didn't get to see much of it last year but I'm glad we had the time to do it this year. We missed the movie because we had to get to dinner.

The 50's Prime TIme was packed because of the rain. I was ready for a long wait but we got called within 15 minutes. Cousin Lida was great as was all the other servers that night. We had never been there but the kids loved it. They laughed so hard. They even thanked us for taking there. We found a new favorite spot in the world. My ds13 is a small eater and I saw him polish off 3 pieces of their fried chicken some potatoes and siome green beans (we finished the rest). All because he wanted dessert so his plate had to be clean. He didn't want a green beasn sundae like the grandmother next to us.

After dinner my sons did Star Tours and we went back to camp for a good night's sleep.
