When the Dec rates came out for Southeastern out of Allentown Pa over a month ago, we jumped at the rate of $69 to Sanford. At that time the schedule only showed one plane down at 12:20 p.m. and one plane returning a week later at 8:45 a.m. The departure time was fine but since we didn't have an option to return at a later time, we more or less HAD to take the early return flight. Now I check out the Southeast schedule out of curiosity and discover they have added another flight returning at 2:20p.m...a much better option. We are told that we must pay an additional $25 in order to change ressies...which I can understand if we were changing it to another day etc. But it is not our fault that they have now added another flight since we booked. Has anyone else run into this and do we have any recourse other than paying the $25?

I know the $25 is similar to what their competitors charge (independence air). Sorry to hear about the change, and now unable to bet better flight...I would speak with another person, and ask for a manager, and explain...the earlier flight...etc. They probably added a flight because the earlier flight filled up. Good Luck:rolleyes:

The airlines are free to do this. I can understand why they do this. You bought what was available at the time and to change requires paperwork and someone to take care of it.
