Receive 25% off category 2 tickets for the Cirque du Soleil® show La Nouba™
Disney Vacation Club Members receive 25% off category 2 tickets (for the Member and as many as three Guests) for shows May 1 - Sept. 30, 2005. Please note that the show doesn't take place on Sundays and Mondays, June 5-20, and Aug. 14-17 and 28-30. Availability is limited, and restrictions apply.

Advance reservations are required (you may place ticket orders as far as 30 days before the show). To order tickets, call Member Services. Remember to bring your Disney Vacation Club ID to the show, as you'll have to present it at the Cirque du Soleil box office in order to receive your tickets. Plan to arrive at the theater at least one hour before show time.

I was happy to read about this, but then I saw it was only through Sept and I'm not going until Nov. :sad2:

Does anyone know where I can view a seat plan for La Nouba? Are these seats in Category 2 decent seats?

Go to this site (Link). Scroll down and find the link to "View a seating chart".

gilld, I've been to the show 3 times and there is not a bad seat in the whole place! Just keep in mind that if you sit too close to the stage (first 5 rows) you will have to be looking straight up to see some of the acts. It's an awesome show!!

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I called right after I read this and got a seat for June 4th. Perfect since they will be closed June 5 - 20, and I arrive June 4th. I am so excited! I have wanted to see this for a while, but I have never wanted to spend that much - this is great because I am going solo AND now have a discount.

Woohoo - I just ordered us tickets too. We are going down the first weekend in June for Star Wars weekend but were taking Sat off to play at the pool and do other things so this will be a PERFECT time to see the show. With 25% off, its hard to resist.

This might be good for our non park trip with my Mom. Think 4 & 7 year old girls would like this???

I booked this morning for Sat. Sept 3rd the night before we leave on the DVC cruise....what a precruise event! I'd been looking for a discount and this was to good to pass up. We got section 202 B
which looks great on the seating chart.

I am not sure that a 4 year old would enjoy the Cirque. The show involves enjoyment of not only the dance and stunts, but the music, costumes and unique slant on entertainment. I brought a 6 year old grandson, and I think even he was a little young. Sandie

Baby Girl - at the time almost 3 - loved it! But we cheated. We ordered the DVD and played it for her. She was already a Cirque fan from Bravo Channel's broadcasts, but she went nuts with La Nouba. She watched it (conservatively) several dozen times before our trip. She knew all of the sequences of the acts, not only the character's names, but the real names of the performers, and she just bubbled throughout the performance. Toward the end, the gentleman sitting next to me asked, "How many times has she seen this show???"

So yes, I'm sure your girls will enjoy the show - provided you prep them a little. Check Bravo to see when they are broadcasting La Nouba (they just did a couple of weeks ago) and tape it. Or order the DVD from Cirque. The DVD has a lot of extra stuff, like in-depth interviews with the performers and musicians, etc.

It's a great show, and nothing a 4 year-old can't "get." Of all the Cirque shows, La Nouba is probably the best for kids.

I thought I was done for tonight, but had to come back and share this.

Girlie was just playing and suddenly announced, "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls...welcome to La Nouba!" Then, she did her rendition of the opening dance number and also announced the arrival of Sergei and Baltho (the clowns).

We saw the show in early February, but she has apparently not forgetten much!

Thanks Jim. Your daughter sounds cute. princess:

I think I'm gonna run this by my Mom. We were thinking about Arabian Nights, but I read the building still looks bad from the hurricanes, the sign is dangling over the parking lot?!? I read someone thought it looked very dangerous. Had me wondering about the place...

The sign was still askew in April. It looks so sad.

From the way it is worded it appears that you don't have to be staying on points to get the discount. Is that correct?

I would imagine that would be correct. They would ask for member i.d. card as proof and then it wouldn't matter if it was points or cash, you're a member either way. And they are also offering it to AP holders, who I'm sure would just have to show their AP as proof.
