25% Cash Room Discount for Guests?

My brother and sister-in-law plan to visit WDW next June and would like to stay at BCV if open. Since points ressies will be limited at first, can I reserve a room for them and get the 25% cash discount (assuming that the discount is being offered)? If the room is reserved in my name, will that create any difficulty for them? Would their room keys also have my name and would charge privileges have to be linked to my credit card or could they use their own?

The member discount is only available when a member is actually staying in the unit. The DVC guidelines cite an example of booking 2 villas for a family reunion, one with points and a villa on cash. The guidelines state that the member must stay in the unit being paid for with the cash discount or else it is not valid. They can also request a Member Card and picture ID at check-in.

That certainly answers my question.

I wonder if discounts will even be offered at BCV when it first opens (AP or DC maybe). With new DVC properties selling so quickly, they may not feel the need to offer discounts. Does anyone know if discounts on VWL were being offered when the resort first opened?
