.

Cassie, it goes to show that with everything Bill did work extremely hard to make your events work well. Your Welcome Party looks amazing. Sorry about the Chocolate Fountain Fiasco, but I'm so glad to hear Disney Staff was great about it and didn't charge you for it getting all over the room. At least it wasn't a Nacho Cheese Fountain(takiest thing I've ever seen at a wedding and hopeto never see one again). Love the Candy Bar, and how awesome you were able to provide your own liquor, soda, beer, & wine in the suite w/o all the minimums. That must have saved a huge chunk of money. So weird that Dianey doesn't let you use the word Cocktails there? In a way it makes sense, but just seems odd. Maybe that's why they use the term Dessert Party Or Adult Beverages instead. If you don't mind my asking, were you able to have your own Bartenders or did they charge you to have someone come in to serve them? That's actually a pretty good idea having a reception in a suite like the one your's was in(beautiful location btw) or Suite at AKL for the Escape Weddings without room rentals and minimums(and huge bar tabs). More please Cassie! Your Wedding really has me anxious in a good way to see and read how well it turned out for you!

I am so glad I Found your TR. Everything looks gorgeous so far! and Molly is adorable!!

I remember your preview pictures on the Roots blog. The pictures were gorgeous and I loved the parasailing picture. I can't wait to read all about your wedding.

All I can say is WOW - that is one beautiful party...it also helps that my favorite color is pink, but wow (i said it again) - it was breathtaking!

Although the chocolate fountain situation was pretty disastrous I'm glad they took a picture - too funny really when it's all said and done! Glad it was all cleaned up before the party!

The tea and welcome parties both look awesome! I am thinking of doing the same thing for the tea, if my budget allows. ;) I love the fact that you had so many unique elements to your wedding, like the welcome party in the suite. I can see why you would say Disney made your wedding feel like it wasn't one of the thousands they do there every year, because it was really unique!
The suite sounds like it would be great to get ready in that morning, I'm worrying about that because I am OCD with everything being clean and organized and I don't want my room all messed up! :rotfl: Can't wait to read more!

wow your welcome party looks amazing!! The suite is perfect for your party. My sister had a chocolate fountain at her wedding too and yeah, it made a HUGE mess everywhere also. .....those things are so unpredictable.

Just read through your TR so far and everything looks amazing!! Thank you for sharing it with us, can't wait to read more!:goodvibes

Carrie, wow, thank you so much for sharing all your amazing photos!
I am having such a blast reading your report.

I loved the napkins at your tea, they were oh so cute!!!
And the candy display was beautiful!!!
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Have you guys ever seen her before? Bill pointed her out one day when we were at the GF. Apparently she has be coming EVERY DAY since the GF opened. She comes in in the afternoon with all of her dolls and bears and sets them up in the lobby to listen to the orchestra. I think it is so incredibly sweet. :flower3:

I was wondering if anyone knows her story? I really wanted to ask her and didn't have a chance. Everyone who I asked at the GF confirmed what Bill said and said that she has a disability. She has to have a story and its probably a pretty awesome one. I took a million pictures of hte lobby to try to get this without her realizing I was photographing her. She seems so adorable. How many people do you know who get dressed up with fancy wigs and take their dolls out for the afternoon? I just think she is so adorable :lovestruc

OMG we saw her last christmas!!!

Hehehehe that photo of the groomsmen in the shower cracks me up :rotfl2:

Everybody looks like they are having such a wonderful time!
And Bill was sooo right... but I wouldn't trust some adults with the chocolate fountain either :lmao:

The pics are looking great. It's nice to see some pics from a fireworks cruise. I've been toying with the idea of a fireworks cruise for some time now. Would love the Grand 1 but we're going to end up with too many guests (Prob about 20-25 of us). Was it nice having the pontoon boats?

Cassie, I love your Fireworks Cruise pictures. That shower picture is hillarious. Your getting ready pictures are fabulous. Were your Bridesmaid Dresses Lilly Pulitzer? I love them. Your dress is gorgeous. How cool you got your DH to wear pink. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I can't get over how amazing your events have been so far :goodvibes I love your wedding colours....I really wish I would have picked pink and white, they look so good! Your dress is gorgeous and I love your hair and makeup! I can't wait to read more!

Oh wow, i'd be angry too. It's really annoying when you get told one thing and then hear something else. Boo Kelly indeed! lol. Getting engaged on the Grand 1 must have been wonderful. My whole reason for wanting a Wishes Cruise is because we got engaged after Wishes last year. I really really really wish Disney would offer private dessert parties in the Magic Kingdom like they do at Epcot. That would be amazing!
