I can't find a new article today, but DH & I were watching the news and they said there were 24 tornados in southern wiconsin last night...at least 1 person killed. WGN in Chicago covered the story last night as well as NBC (those were the 2 we watched). Thats just unbelievable! Everyone from WI ok?

Thank you for your concern for us Wisconsonites. I believe we are just fine. I was driving back home (northern Wisconsin) from the Madison area yesterday and it was just terrible. A lot of us just had to pull to the side of the road it was pouring so hard. I also watched on the news when I got home and there was a lot of damage and a death so that was hard to hear. This state has just been getting pounded this year for some reason. My daughter and I have spent a lot of time in our basement. We are both looking forward to leaving our wonderful state for our first Disneyworld trip next month. So thanks again for thinking of us! :sunny: Take care and god bless!

Finally some rain here yesterday, a few inches. We were under the severe watch and I was watching the radar as they rolled through WI, I could see they were bad. Good wishes for our neighbors to the north.

Anyone know if there was damage in the Baraboo area?

I think that the damage was south of Baraboo. We were in the path of the storm that went through Stoughton (just south of Madison) where there was a huge tornado and one confirmed death. The storm continued east, southeast. There are unconfirmed reports of several tornados in our area including Palmyra which is 4 miles from our house. My kids went to Palmyra for volleyball this morning so I'll hear if they saw any damage or heard anything from the other girls. I headed north 20 miles to work and saw no damage. They said it didn't even rain in the town where I work. We have lots of trees down, mostly in our horse pasture. The horses are okay. It was a scary evening.
