That's right 6 people times 10 days at WD = I must be sick in the head !!!! Well I just wanted to share my final products and a great big thanx to Michelle, Amy and Kari for the beautiful artwork. You gals are sure helping to make our first trip to WD magical Here they are.

I ordered the shirts from jiffyshirts.com. They are great...ordered on Monday and had the shirts Tuesday afternoon. The transfer paper I used is from Walmart and the only trouble I had was that they didn't have enuf in stock. It is June Tailor iron transfer paper for dark colors.

I only had one "oops" which the corner of one of the designs turned under and I didn't know. I'll fix that the way my mom taught me...stick a bow on it.

No pretrip report yet. I may start that in a month or so. Gotta get the scrapbook and shirts ready first. But be looking for it, k!

I am so glad that you gals (Michelle,Amy, Kari) like the shirts. I hope I did your beautiful work justice.

Well can't take much credit for matching the colors. I ordered the shirts before I ever printed the darn things out. Just got lucky. I have purple shirts too (local school colors) and I can't for the life of me figure out what to put on them. HMMMMMMMM... maybe I need a new Disign

I know how you feel - last year I made about 50 shirts for our clan and I did them all myself. It was a big job but I did it in steps and it wasn't too bad. It was so worth it when they were done and I was very happy with how they turned out.

I used short sleeve because of the unpredictable weather. I figured we can were long sleeve undershirts or thermals. Layers, layers, layers.

I don't do anything fancy but wash and dry - (after returning home from my trip, so they are fresh and look the best for the trip!)

I agree with Amy. I want them to look crisp and new when we wear them at the park.

I have a plan for them after the trip to commemerate our trip....t-shirt blanket!

We are going on our first trip this May and I am making 21 tshirts for the whole family. Some of the teenage girls in the family are unsure whether they will wear them or not. They can't look uncool or anything!!!! I was just wondering if anyone had any comments or feedback that could help.

Well I told my kids, "my money, my rules". Wear them or stay home. It's Disney nobody is looking at "you" with all the characters around. But I'm just mean like that.

I am going in Dec too! I was going to wait to make my shirts till later in the year, but after seeing yours I am excited to do them now.
I just haven't decided yet what all to make. I will use my own design of course on one of them, a tie dye Mickey (possibly 2), I haven't ordered any yet but plan on making some requests from a few different designers.

I just dread the transferring part. I hate ironing and the last time I tried transfering something for DS5's 1st Bday it peeled right off within the hour. I wish there was a service that did this!!!!

That is how I am with my own kids!!!! But they are 2 and 4 and they are looking forward to the cool tshirts mom is maing!! If only they could stay that way forever!!

Some of my cousins are the teenagers. I wish I could tell them that!!

They tell me I have at least one disney moment every day I have been making a project list for preparation for the trip to help curb the anticipation. First was my scrapbook. I started it in January and it is almost done (first scrapbook ever). That was a chore, but know I just have to insert pictures and it will be ready for everyone's viewing pleasure. Now shirts are my main project. Then I will work on Mousekeeping evelopes and so on.

I am the same way - completely Disney Obsessed! I've been researching everything and making charts and lists and then I happened onto the DISign thread and now I am busy making Designs for others to feed their obsessions, DH thinks I am nuts. I LOVE IT.
