24 Hours at Magic Kingdom Event

We went to the special 24 hour event at the Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago. I am finally getting around to even looking closely at my pictures. Did anyone else go to it? I would love to see other people's pictures.

Here are a few of the finale with the sunrise starting to show. It actually rose after the event was over. We had planned to get there on Friday for the opening in the dark, but our daughter got sick on the drive up (gluten allergy), so we didn't make it there until 7:30AM. So, no full sunrise shots from me.

did you stay for the entire 24 hours ? how crowded was it at the end ? just wondering how many made it all the way .

We didn't do the whole 24. Mentioned before that we arrived late due to DD's illness. We were at the MK from about 7:30-noon when we went to the hotel b/c room was ready. We had lunch and about a two hour nap then went to DHS and stayed there until about 9:00. Went back to the room for another meal (4th meal?) slept until about 1AM and were back at the MK at 2AM. We then stayed until close. Because I had been at a conference at Disney up until Thursday afternoon before heading home, I only got about three hours of sleep Thursday night before we had gotten up at 2AM to head there. We have been joking that it was all one big combo day known as Thurfriaturday. Only me and the older DD even went to a park on Saturday, but it was not until late that evening.
