24 Hour Party Meet Up??

I'm coming from NZ with my mom! We wont be around too late though as we have a 14 hour flight home the next day but would love to join the meet

Why not delay that return home by several days, so as to visit longer?

I'd love to but I have to be back at work on the 25th for a conference, but I figured any Disney time was better than no Disney time at all

I am also going solo and would love to meet up with some peeps throughout the day. I got a hotel room for thurs and friday night. I did the same thing last year and it worked out well

I'll be doing the party solo as well. Had no idea there'd be a 24hr event when I booked this, but alas, YAY! Would love to meet up with some othere solo travelers for a chat or a ride or a drink or whatever

I'll be lugging around a backpack full of photo equipment, so I could do a group shot if people want?

I love the idea of meeting up at 10am. I vote for Big Thunder Mountain. If we know we are going to do it, we can all try for fast passes for it.

I vote for BTMRR or Space Mountain, though the wait times for either might be a concern.

No matter what we'll be waiting in line. Even if we're not a group we'll still be waiting in line somewhere. Might as well enjoy one line as a big group

haha not sure what I'll be wearing yet, but I will make sure I post what I'm wearing and I'll probably make a small sign to hang onto that says "DISBoards Meet Up"

I was just thinking about the meet-up and thought of something. Would it make sense to wear something that indicates we're DIS members, just so we can all be easier to identify? I don't remember if it was this board or another one, but I remember years ago someone discussing in a forum how everyone that was a member had a habit of wearing something like a red felt mickey mouse badge attached to their backpack or something with their screen name when they went to a theme park so they could wave down other members.
