24 Hour Party Meet Up??

I wish I could be there for the meet up! We're driving in from San Jose that day and probably won't get to DL until 1pm. So excited to be there! I'm only a little worried that DL will reach capacity before we can get there.

I was just thinking about the meet-up and thought of something. Would it make sense to wear something that indicates we're DIS members, just so we can all be easier to identify? I don't remember if it was this board or another one, but I remember years ago someone discussing in a forum how everyone that was a member had a habit of wearing something like a red felt mickey mouse badge attached to their backpack or something with their screen name when they went to a theme park so they could wave down other members.

Something like a Lime Green Mickey Head? I was just going through an old box of stuff the other day and ran across my old one from my first trip.

Also, if you expect anyone with tiny ones to join for the ride, it probably needs to be something without a height requirement.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking of! Just couldn't remember the color. I wasn't as involved in the online community back then, but I always wanted to make the lime green mickey. It just never happened.

I like the idea of the "I'm celebrating" buttons, too. Just something to make it easier.

Hmm, maybe we could do one meet-up/ride on a height requirement ride and another on something a little more kid-friendly like Small World or Pirates? I'm not great at organizing, but I'm willing to help out. Can you tell I'm getting excited since we only have 1 more month?!?

I think an afternoon meet up would be great as well for those coming in later! I also think that something like pirates would be great. Especially with how many people are wanting to meet up. So I think we should just say that Pirates might be the ride to go with for the meet ups so that little ones can come along.
