24 hour day costume

I'm going to the 24 hour day for the first time in May. It says you can dress up as your favorite character, so my boyfriend and I are going to get all dressed up.

My favorite is Simba and I was wondering if any of you guys had some suggestions on how I could possibly pull that off. I'm not very creative, lol so any help is appreciated. My one friend suggested getting a dress that's the same color as Simba, so maybe if someone could come across something like that and link me to it, that'd be awesome. I've tried looking but haven't had any luck yet.
