Sigh. Disney basically told me nothing they could do about the ridiculous delivery time for our bands. They will arrive while we are away, and hopefully will arrive when the rest of our mail is delivered on December 1. I spoke to a supervisor and asked when two cast members told me they were expedited, they were shipped parcel post, and when we didn't ask for expedite they were shipped two day. I also pointed out that it didn't make sense that it should take two weeks from freeze date to ship and that any delivery takes 10 days.
She told that a. They don't ever expedite (me: oh, so the cast members lied?)
and b. They never ship two days, just regular mail.
She did say that if I got home and the bands were missing, they could be replaced and set to the resort (after saying, you have the tracking number, they won't be lost).
So, if you're tight on time, don't assume expediting works.
